C Lars Anderson, Sr., Bethel (Minn.)
Anderson finished 7-for-12 (.583) this week with one walk, two doubles, and one home run to help the Royals go 4-0 in MIAC play. Moreover, Anderson scored four times and drove in seven RBI.
1B Chris Rebar, Jr., King's (Pa.)
Rebar hit three home runs, a triple, and a double to lead the Monarchs to a 3-2 record this week including a 2-1 series win over cross-town rival Wilkes in conference play. He batted .421 (8-for-19), scored nine runs, and knocked in 10 while slugging 1.053.
2B Josh Savacool, Sr., Ithaca
Senior Josh Savacool went 9-for-17 last week (.529) with seven runs scored, four RBI, two walks, a triple and home run. Savacool was also a perfect 24-for-24 in fielding chances on the week.
SS Matt Schubert, Sr., Concordia (Wisc.)
Schubert scored 12 runs and drove in 13 while batting .500 (16-for-32) in a 7-0 week for the Falcons. The senior shortstop drove in at least one run in every game and recorded a hit in every contest while scoring in six of seven. He had six multi-hit games, including three with three hits, doubled six times and added a triple.
3B Tyler Kozlowski, Sr., UW-Oshkosh
Kozlowski hit .526 (10-for-19) with three doubles, one triple, seven runs scored and 10 runs batted in as UW-Oshkosh compiled a 4-1 record during a road game at Benedictine and four home contests against UW-Platteville. Kozlowski hit safely in all five games and produced percentages of .789 for slugging and .600 for on-base. He handled all 14 of his fielding opportunities without an error while extending his hitting streak to a season-best eight games.
OF Matthew Lillard, Jr., Hendrix
Lillard hit .667 (8-for-12) with six runs, six RBI, two doubles and two home runs as the Warriors went 3-0 on the week. For the week, Lillard had a .714 on-base percentage and 1.333 slugging percentage.
OF Jonathan Spina, So., La Roche
Spina hit .692 (9-for-13) as the Redhawks picked up three top 25 wins and went 4-0, finishing the week with six runs, four RBI, three walks, three doubles, a triple and a stolen base.
OF Mitchell Stumpo, So., Guilford
Stumpo helped the Quakers to a sweep of visiting Bridgewater to keep Guilford's ODAC Tournament hopes alive. He batted .778 (7-for-9) with three doubles and five RBIs., posting an .800 on-base percentage. He hit a school-record-tying three doubles, in the Quakers' 10-4 win in the nightcap and holds an 11 game hitting streak.
DH Jeremiah Quezada, Fr., Pomona-Pitzer
Quezada hit his first two career home runs and went 8-for-15 with two doubles, six RBI and 16 total bases as the Sagehens won 2 of 3 over Occidental. For the weekend Quezada's slash line was .533/.563/1.067.
SP Blake Glauben, Sr., Rhodes
Glauben was dominant on the mound Saturday afternoon en route to clinching the Lynx the 2-seed and hosting rights for the SAA Tournament. Glauben went untouched for a 9 inning complete game no-hitter in a 6-0 Lynx win over Centre. He allowed only four Colonels to reach base via a walk and struck out eleven in the gem, including a strikeout to close out the game.
SP Ethan Lewis, Jr., La Roche
Lewis allowed just one hit and one baserunner in their 13-0 win over D'Youville, registering the victory after striking out five in six shutout innings.
SP Garrett Pelko, Sr., Misericordia
Pelko threw a seven-inning no-hitter in a 7-0 win at Eastern. He struck out eight while allowing just one walk. He added a strikeout in one shutout inning of relief in a win over Stevens.
SP Colan Treml, So., UW-Oshkosh
Treml allowed just two hits in earning his WIAC-leading third shutout of the season during UW-Oshkosh's 8-0 home win over UW-Platteville on April 22. Treml retired the first 10 batters he faced before yielding consecutive singles in the fourth inning. He pitched to just 30 batters during the nine-inning contest, three over the minimum. Treml struck out a career-high 10 batters while issuing just one walk.
RP John-Michael Guarino, Sr., Oswego State
Guarino entered game one of the Lakers doubleheader against the No. 8 Cortland Red Dragons in relief and pitched a perfect three innings to earn his third save of the season. The New Hampton, N.Y. native took the mound with no outs and runners on second and third. Guarino struck out the first two batters before getting the final batter of the inning to foul out to the first base side. He finished with four strikeouts and did not allow a base runner.
