Mount Aloysius senior Bryan Nolan stole 7 bases in the second game of a doubleheader win against Hiram on Thursday March 11, 2011. With his performance, the Mounties shortstop set a new school record for stolen bases, and tied the NCAA mark for stolen bases in a game, set in 1986 by Doug Graner of Methodist. Rob Hutchison, Skidmore also had seven stolen bases in a game in 2007.

Nolan went 4-4 for the game.  As the team's lead-off batter, he walked his first at bat and stole second base on the subsequent pitch.  Two batters later, he stole third base.
 
In the second inning, he singled to advance teammate Skylar Sheeder to third base, and then stole second base.
 
Nolan singled in the top of the fourth inning for his third at bat.  He promptly stole second and third bases on the next two pitches.
 
He returned to the plate in the sixth inning and hit a double off of Hiram reliever Eric Shaffer.  Nolan stole third base shortly thereafter.
 
Nolan made his final plate appearance in the top of the seventh inning, and hit his second double of the game.  He tied the 25-year old NCAA record for stolen bases on the next play, when he stole third base.
