UW-Oshkosh won both games in its final at-bat during a baseball sweep over Plymouth State on Saturday in Fort Myers, Fla. Robbie Kleman provided a two-single single that gave the Titans a 5-4 victory in the opener. UW-Oshkosh then overcame a three-run deficit with a six-run inning to take the second contest, 8-5.

Matt Scott's first hit of Louisiana College's ASC series against Mississippi College could not have come at a better time. The Pineville native sent a shot over the left center field wall to give the Wildcats a 6-4 win and take the rubber match of the weekend series is dramatic fashion.

Scoring the tying run on a passed ball with two out in the 9th inning, George Fox took advantage of that gift to score twice in the 10th for a 3-1 second-game win that gave the Bruins a split of their NWC twinbill with Whitman at Borleske Stadium.

WPI posted 11 two-out runs in the opener and Coast Guard received a five-hit shutout from Derek Petty in the nightcap as the two teams split their NEWMAC doubleheader.  The Engineers took game one 12-8 with the Bears taking the second game 5-0 behind the senior's second career shutout. 

Jeff Lynch went 2-for-3 with two RBI and Tyler Goldstein struck out four in six innings to guide Johns Hopkins to a 5-2 victory versus Wooster. The win closed out an impressive 10-game trip in Fort Myers, Fla. for the Blue Jays, who won nine out of 10 games and seven straight overall. Johns Hopkins is off to its best start since 2004 with a 14-2 record.

With Keuka's scheduled games today against Dickinson, there are still three teams that have not seen their opening game.

Colby starts their season on Sunday with Maine-Farmington and New England College getting thier openers later this week.

Thomas More split a Presidents' Athletic Conference doubleheader with Thiel at Thomas More Field in Crestview Hills, Kentucky.  Thiel won game one, 5-4, but the Saints won the nightcap, 6-2.

Mattew Pardo tallied two hits and drove in two runs while brother Dave Pardo pitched a complete-game gem as Illinois College took a 3-1 victory over visiting Greenville at Lenz Field. Matthew Pardo had a run-scoring triple in the fifth inning and an RBI double in the seventh. David Pardo scattered nine hits over nine innings of work, allowing just one run in the win. He walked two and struck out three.

Jordan Lozzi pitched a one-hit shutout in the opener, as Wesley split a CAC doubleheader against York at Jaquet Field. The Wolverines took game one, 2-0, before falling 8-0 in the second game. Lozzi improved to 4-0 on the year while striking out five and facing just four batters over the minimum.  The first and only hit he allowed was a two-out single in the bottom of the third as the Spartans never got a runner into scoring position on the day.

La Roche extended their win-streak to five games and their home win-streak to 11 games with a 4-3 win over Baldwin Wallace. Tyler Ferguson registered his second consecutive win. He threw 6.1 innings and allowed just 3 runs on 4 hits while striking out 5 batters. Jesse Bauer threw 1.2 innings of hitless ball to record his fifth save.

Mary Hardin-Baylor held off a late Hardin-Simmons rally in game two and the Cru held on to salvage a doubleheader split with the Cowboys in Belton. UMHB fell 9-1 in game one before surviving for a 5-4 victory in game two.

Stevens split a pair of one-run games with Franklin & Marshall in Lancaster, Pa. Stevens dropped game one, 4-3, but rebounded with a 3-2 victory in the nightcap to finish the double dip. Tyler Courter scattered four hits over eight innings to earn his third victory of the season. Courter allowed a single run in the second and seventh innings and punched out 11 batters with no walks.

Pacific and Claremont-Mudd-Scripps traded a pair of standout pitching performances as the two teams split their doubleheader at Arce Field. Rob Dittrick threw eight innings of a seven-hit shutout in the opener, which the Pacific offense backed up with a four-run eighth inning for a 5-0 victory. Claremont’s Andor Kesselman proved the star in the second game, throwing a complete-game three-hitter to give the Stags a 7-0 shutout.

Penn State Behrend swept Gettysburg in a non-conference doubleheader. The Lions rallied in the opening game for a 2-1 victory before rolling to a 13-0 win in game two. The Behrend pitching staff was dominate in both games.  Five Lions combined to throw 14 innings with just one run allowed.

Senior Chris Ray drove in the go-ahead run in the seventh inning of game one and sophomore Steve Price threw a complete game, four-hitter in game two as Alvernia swept a doubleheader at Messiah in Commonwealth Conference action. The wins moved Alvernia head coach Yogi Lutz within two wins of 700 for his career.
