Trinity (Texas) swept both games of an afternoon doubleheader, winning 5-1 and 8-0 over Rockford. Second-ranked Trinity pushed its winning streak to eight games, and improved its overall record to 23-4 on the season. Andrew Alig tossed a complete-game two-hitter for Trinity in game one, striking out 13 batters and allowing just one run. Game two saw another outstanding pitching performance for the Tigers, as Kyle Bogese combined with Colin Serkowski for a four-hit shutout. Bogese gave up three hits and struck out 11 over seven innings, while Serkoski finished off the win in allowing just one hit over the final two innings.
Sophomore right-hander Brett Collacchi pitched his second complete game of the season, scattering seven hits and one run over seven innings, to help the top-ranked Salisbury salvage a doubleheader split with St. Mary's, winning the second game, 2-1. St Mary's upset the Sea Gulls 4-3 in the opener.
Jared McIntosh and Seth Davis each threw a complete game shutout as Augustana opened the home portion of its 2013 schedule with a 5-0, 1-0 doubleheader sweep of Wisconsin-Platteville at Swanson Stadium/Brunner Field. The 21st-ranked Vikings improve to 12-2 this season, while the Pioneers fall to 5-5.
Manchester received strong play from both ends of the spectrum, helping lead the Spartans to a 14-9, 4-2 sweep of HCAC rival Franklin. Playing on a sun-splashed Gratz Field in front of a strong home crowd, the No. 22 ranked Black and Gold rapped out 15 hits in game one and got a sparkling six-strikeout, seven-inning effort from senior Kyle Konarski in game two.
Cortland State rode the pitching of Brandon McClain to an 8-1 win over New Paltz State in the first SUNYAC contest of the season at Cornell. Field conditions forced the game to be moved New Paltz State to Cornell.

Webster opened up its defense of the SLIAC crown by taking a twinbill at MacMurray, 10-0 and 7-2. The Gorloks played a 14-hit attack into 10 runs in the opener, and Cody Hafeli pitched seven innings for the win in game two.
Tim Wilson went 7-for-10 and hit his first home run of the season to highlight sixth-ranked Linfield’s doubleheader sweep of host Whitworth in a pair of NWC games. The Wildcats’ All-America second baseman scored six runs and drove in four on the day, stole a base and had five hits in game two of the doubleheader. Kramer Lindell went 5-for-10 on the afternoon. Jake Wylie drove in five runs for the ‘Cats, and Nick Fisher went 4-for-8 with three runs batted in.
Randolph-Macon split an ODAC doubleheader with No. 11 Shenandoah in Ashland. The Yellow Jackets took game one 10-9 thanks to timely hitting in the middle innings.
In its second day of action in Florida, UW-Stevens Point split a doubleheader with St. Thomas. The Tommies won the first game 9-7, and the Pointers came away with a 3-2 win in extra innings in the second game.
Bryan Bierlein and senior closer Ryan Fleischmann combined for the No. 7 Captains second shutout of the season, blanking the Averett Cougars in the second game of a doubleheader, 4-0. Brandon Taylor was a hard-luck loser for CNU in game one after a complete-game gem, falling 2-1 as the teams split the conference doubleheader.

Junior Jeff Johnson pitched a complete game five-hitter and struck out 11 as No. 24-ranked Illinois Wesleyan scored in the ninth to earn a 2-1 win over St. Norbert. The Titans lost the afternoon game to Washington (Mo.), 6-3.
Keystone remained unbeaten in CSAC play with a pair of victories
over Centenary at Diamond Nation in Flemington, NJ. The Giants
improve to 13-5 on the season with the win and 4-0 in league play
while the Cyclones fall to 6-10-1 on the year and 1-4 in the CSAC
after Keystone won by scores of 6-2 and 7-0.
David Cladis set the plate for the top of the order with a 4-for-4
day as UW-Whitewater defeated Benedictine 9-4 in Winter Haven Fla.
The top four batters accounted for five RBI with Marty Herum
garnering the lion's share with three. Matt Roberts pitched into
the ninth where Brock Liston got the final two outs to preserve the
win.
No. 4 Marietta and Huntingdon split a doubleheader at Don Schaly Stadium. The Hawks scored a pair of unearned runs in the ninth inning to win game one by the score of 6-5. The Pioneers salvaged a split with a 9-2 win in the second game.
