St. Mary's used a Jared Eaker seventh inning single through the left side of the infield with two outs to score Corey Napier to give the Seahawks a 6-5 win over top ranked Salisbury. The Seahawks earned the series win taking two of the three weekend contests.

Rockford ended a ten game losing streak in spectacular fashion. The Regents shutout the second ranked team in the nation at home 5-0. Daryn Streed pitched eight inings allowing just three hits and no walks in his firt win of the season. Streed struck out seven. Chris Senn drove in the first three runs of the game, including two on an eighth inning one-out double that provide breathing room for the Rockford pitching staff.

Cortland State finished a sweep of the SUNYAC series with New Patlz State at Hoy Field on the campus of Cornell University. The Red Dragons took a 5-1 decision in the first game before defeating the Hawks, 6-2, in the finale. Max Rosing led the Red Dragon's with four hits on the day.

Nick Fisher went 3-for-4 with a two-run double that highlighted a five-run fifth inning as Linfield blew past Whitworth 10-5 to complete a NWC sweep at Merkel Stadium. Linfield starter Zach Brandon tossed five spotless innings, allowing just three hits with one walk and three strikeouts.

Andy Lopez and Joe O'Connor combined for six hits and four runs scored as the No. 8 Kean powered their way past Oneonta State, 13-6. Lopez was 3-for-5 with a team-high three RBI and a triple. O'Connor was 3-for-4 with a double, RBI and two stolen bases. Sophomore Matt Mastroianni led the Red Dragons with two hits, including a double and run scored.

No. 15 ranked Texas-Tyler won another three-game series, this time against ASC rival East Texas Baptist.  On Sunday, the Patriots finished off a 2-1 win, before falling 12-7 in the final game of the weekend.

No. 10 Wheaton (Mass.) swept a NEWMAC doubleheader against Clark by scores of 7-0 (seven innings) and 8-0 at Sidell Stadium. Alec Palioca allowed just three hits over seven innings of work to push his record to 3-1 overall on the season. Palioca did not issue a single walk, struck out a game-high seven batters and only allowed two runners to reach scoring position in his entire outing. Nick Filloramo stymied the Cougars over six-and-one-thirds innings pitched allowing five hits, no runs, two walks and three strikeouts. Eric Dumas kept his scoreless innings streak intact with one-and-two thirds innings of shutout pitching on one hit, zero walks and three strikeouts. Mike Bisceglia completed the combined shutout effort for the Lyons with a clean ninth.

Courtesy of three runs in the top of the sixth inning, No. 17 Birmingham-Southern defeated Hendrix, 5-2, to take the road series and move to 8-1 in the SAA. Jacob Mayfield and Tanner McGill led the Panthers with two hits apiece. Evan Grovenstein got the win on the mound after starting and throwing five innings, giving up four hits and two earned runs with two strikeouts.

Manchester scored four runs over the fourth and fifth innings to break up a scoreless tie and send itself to a 4-1 win over Franklin. The fifth straight win for the No. 22-ranked squad wrapped up a key early-season HCAC series sweep. Justin Scott took a shutout bid into the seventh before Franklin broke it up behind back-to-back two-out hits. He concluded his complete-game victory with just one walk issued and six strikeouts to even his season record at 1-1
