The College of Staten Island men's baseball team scored an opening round win as part of the CUNYAC/MCU Baseball Postseason Championship double-elimination tournament, but it wasn't easy. The top-seeded Dolphins used 12 innings to get by No. 4 John Jay College, 3-2, at MCU Ballpark in Brooklyn, New York. The win lifted the Dolphins to 28-11 on the season, advancing them into the tournament's winner's bracket, where they will face No. 2 Baruch, a 5-1 winner over Lehman.

No. 2-ranked St. Thomas clinched the program's 11th consecutive MIAC regular season championship with a 12-2, 4-0 home sweep of second-place Gustavus. Tyler Peterson went 4-for-5 with four RBI in game one and J.D. Dorgan went 3-for-4 with two RBI in game two. Junior Tim Kuzniar went 4-for-6 with five RBI on the day and has 27 RBI in his last 14 games.

Spalding swept their three game series with Fontbonne, beating the Griffins 8-1, 10-2, and 4-2. Kyle Hudson held Fontbonne to one run on six hits to lead Spalding to an 8-1 win over the Griffins. In game two, Matt West drove in four runs and Wes Phan struck out five to help lead the Golden Eagles past the Griffins 10-2.

In a non-conference tune-up prior to the start of the 2013 Northern Athletics Conference Tournament, the Aurora Spartans defeated the Wheaton (Ill.)Thunder 5-3 at Soflisburg Park.

Buena Vista closed out its regular season schedule on with a doubleheader split at Loras en route to a 3-1 series win. The Duhawks took the opener, 3-1, before BVU rolled off four runs in the 10th inning of the nightcap to take the finale, 8-4 in 10 inning.

Saint John's improved its chances for a MIAC-Tournament bid with a pair of walk-off wins over Augsburg in Collegeville. After Augsburg gained a 7-6 lead in the top of the ninth of game one, senior Max Forster drilled a 3-2 pitch over the left-field fence, his second home run of the day. The Johnnies then loaded the bases before junior Dylan Graves drove a single over the right fielder's head for the game-winning run, 8-7. In game two it was a final inning Conner Cline home run that was the difference in the 3-2 win.
