Senior shortstop Rob Pasternack's bases-loaded single during the bottom of the ninth inning lifted William Paterson to a 6-5 victory against Suffolk Saturday at the RussMatt Central Florida Invitational.

St. Scholastica defeated Penn State-Behrend 7-2 to finish its spring trip with a record of 6-1. It was another solid outing for Andy Davis. He did not allow a hit until with one out in the sixth. Davis struck out seven in 7.2 innings, allowing only four hits with no walks.

Penn State-Altoona withstood an Albion rally and sent the Britons home after a 10-6 victory. Outfielder Logan Madill led the Lions' offense with a 3-for-4 day. He scored twice and knocked in three.

In a series filled with late-inning heroics, Chapman split a doubleheader with Pomona-Pitzer at Hart Park with a 7-6 win in Game 1 and 10-8 loss in Game 2. The Panthers had already claimed the series opener on Friday 11-10 on a three-run eighth-inning homer by sophomore DH Matt Gandy.

WPI ended its 10-game Spring Break trip on a winning note, splitting a doubleheader against Roger Williams to finish its trip at 6-4. After losing the opener, 6-1, the Crimson and Gray came back with 23 hits in round two to grab a 17-0 victory. Freshman Mike Vaitkunas tossed six scoreless innings in the second game, scattering five hits to pick up his first college victory.

Mary Hardin-Baylor broke open a close game with a six-run fifth inning and the Cru rolled to an 8-0 victory over Mississippi College in Belton. UMHB improves to 13-2 overall and 10-2 in ASC play after completing a series sweep of the Choctaws.

Manhattanville provided plenty of power at the plate against King's (Pa.), as the Valiants defeated the Monarchs twice in their Freedom Conference opener by the final scores of 10-3 and 12-10 at Baseball Heaven.

In a windy afternoon at Dobbelaar Field, runs came at a premium between Stevens and Baruch in a CUNYAC contest. Stevens won, 1-0, in walk-off fashion in the bottom of the ninth inning on a single from sophomore Nicholas Sieber.Sieber stroked the game-winning hit through the left side of the infield to plate the wining run with two outs to propel Stevens to a 6-1 record.

Illinois College swept a doubleheader against Oakland City. The Blueboys won Saturday's games by scores of 6-4 and 4-3. Dalton Kerans provided a go-ahead RBI single in the top of the seventh, and later scored to give the Blueboys a two-run cushion. Austin Peck was 2-for-3 with a pair of RBIs. Starter T.J Albers allowed four runs over the first five innings before Dylan Sunderalnd pitched two scoreless innings to earn the win.

Whittier earned a split with Redlands cruising to the 11-3 victory in game one before dropping an 8-2 decision in game two. Whittier has now dropped three of their last four games but still leads the SCIAC with a 12-8, 10-2 record a game ahead of Cal Lutheran who sits in second.

A six-run second inning and a dominant pitching performance was more than enough as Wheaton (Ill.) wrapped up its annual spring trip with a 12-1 run-rule victory over Crown. Wheaton closes its trip with consecutive run-rule victories, outscoring its opponents 30-6 over the 14-inning span.

A diving tag by LeTourneau pitcher Kirby Cantalamesssa following a pitch that ricocheted off the backstop preserved an 8-7 win for the YellowJackets over East Texas Baptist. With a 1-1 count, Cantalamessa had a pitch that hit off the backstop at Woods Field which was alertly grabbed by LeTourneau catcher Dillon Yates, who made the toss to Cantalamessa, who tagged Chris Scroggins to seal the win.

Paced by strong starting pitching performances from senior Brian Rush and sophomore Tyler Krolikowski, Mount Saint Vincent scored 8-2 and 9-2 wins over Lehman. Both starters for the Mount picked up their first wins of the season.

Wesley rallied from five runs down to defeat Christopher Newport, 10-9, in ten innings in the second game of a CAC doubleheader at Captains Park. The Captains took the opener, 17-6. Tied at nine going into the tenth, Trevor Mears' sacrifice fly broke tie and Andrew Cooper then closed the door on Christopher Newport with a 1-2-3 tenth inning.  Cooper allowed no earned runs in 3.2 innings to pick up his third win of the season in as many decisions.

Adrian won two high-scoring affairs over Franklin at John P. McDowell Field. The Bulldogs took the opener 15-6, prevailing in the nightcap 10-9 in 10 innings. In the opener, Adrian sealed the victory with an eight-run ninth inning. In game two, Adrian used a seven-run fifth inning to take a 9-5 lead but let the lead slip away before scoring a run in extra innings to win.

Shenandoah exploded for 27 total runs in a 15-12, 12-5 sweep of Hampden-Sydney. Shenandoah took control of the game in the third inning behind an impressive 12 runs as 13 of the first 14 batters reached base safely. Shenandoah's hot hitting from the first game carried over to game two, securing the sweep from the region's hottest team.
