Thomas More scored 10 runs in the first inning as they defeated Wilmington, 13-3, Tuesday, in its home opener at Thomas More Field in Crestview Hills, Kentucky. The Saints took control of the game early as they scored 10 runs on eight hits and three errors in the first inning.

Mary Hardin-Baylor grabbed a ninth-inning lead on the nation's top-ranked team, but could not hold on in a 5-4, 12-inning loss to Trinity (Texas) in San Antonio.
Junior Anthony Fischetti laced a bases-loaded triple to give No. 4 Kean the lead for good as the Cougars topped DeSales by the final of 6-2 in non-conference action. Fischetti finished with four RBI. DeSales outhit the Cougars, 12-6 with all 12 hits going for singles.
A leadoff home run from shortstop Michael Hartnagel set the tone for the DePauw Tigers as they swept the visiting Manchester Spartans in the home opener at Walker Field. After a rough start to the 2014 campaign, the Tigers were able to out find their offensive stroke grabbing game one by a score of 9-5 and taking the nightcap by a score of 6-4.
The Central Dutch had 24 batters reach base via hit in a 17-0 (7 inn.) win over Crown at the Tucson Invitational Games. The hit total tops the previous-best mark of 21 set against Dickinson State (N.D.) March 17, 2011. The Dutch also posted their highest run total of the season on Crown (Minn.) and scored 10 runs or more for the fourth time in its six-game winning streak.
Franklin sophomore Drew Kammerer hit a two-run walk-off home run with two outs to give the Grizzlies an 8-6 come-from-behind victory over Wabash on Tuesday from John P. McDowell Field. Senior Scott Windler tied the game with a two-run home run also with two outs in the ninth inning.Franklin set up the late inning heroics by getting out of a bases-loaded jam with one out in the ninth inning to keep the deficit to two runs, 6-4.

Texas-Dallas pounded out 17 hits as the Comets earned a 13-7 win over Austin in non-conference play.The Comets scored five runs in each the fourth and sixth frames en route to their third win in four outings.

No. 5 UW-Stevens Point handed No. 10 Rowan its first loss of the season this, defeating the Profs 12-0 at the RussMatt Central Florida Invitational. Righty Cam Siedl earned the victory for the Pointers. He threw seven innings, allowing nine runs on nine hits. Left-hander Zach Wendorf (1) recorded the save, pitching 1.2 perfect innings.
Hamilton won its second game in as many days to start the season, routing Framingham State 10-3 in Auburndale, Fla. Joe Jensen led the Continentals with three hits, three runs scored and two stolen bases.
The Texas Lutheran Bulldogs erupted for 16 runs and 15 hits in a 16-0 road rout of former conference foe Texas Wesleyan. The game was called after seven innings due to the 10-run rule. The Bullgogs took a 4-0 lead with a four-run fourth and then put up 12 runs in the fifth.
A 4-1 lead for Elizabethtown slipped away over the late innings when Dickinson rallied for two in the bottom of the ninth, winning 5-4 on a walk-off balk. Kevin Elwell was issued a balk with Matt Primavera at the dish, allowing Ryan Dolan to trot home from third with the winning run, his third of the game.

Heidelberg rallied from a 6-0 hole and defeated the Adrian Bulldogs 13-12 in 10 innings. In the tenth, Heidelberg scored five times and needed everyone as Adrian scored four but was unable to put the tying run on base.

It was a wild day for the Covenant and Berry. Fogged out at Covenant, the game moved to Berry in Rome, Ga. Berry built a 9-1 lead in the sixth inning anc Covenant roared back by scoring 13 runs, three in the sixth and 10 in the seventh, to take a 14-9 lead. Berry rallied and finished with a 16-15 victory in 13 innings at William R. Bowdoin Field.
Nathan Suyematso belted out three hits to go along with two RBIs as Pacific put together a pair of four-run innings to knock off Corban , 9-1, at Warrior Field. The sophomore's two-out, two-run single capped a four-run eighth inning as the Boxers finished with 12 hits against six different Corban hitters.
