A week after coming one out away from a complete game shutout, junior Brooks Fortenberry finished the job with a five-hit, six-strikeout performance in an 8-0 victory for Mississippi College over Ozarks on Friday afternoon at Lonnie R. Qualls Field. The win gave the Choctaws (10-11, 8-8 ASC) a five-game win streak, their longest since a five-game run from April 8-15, 2011. That streak included a three-game sweep of Ozarks three years ago. Trehern made his only career start in the complete-game effort.
