hot hitting on Friday as he hit for the cycle in a game one

FLEMINGTON,
N.J. – Matt Sheneman led Neumann to two wins against
Centenary as the Knights evened its record on Friday
afternoon in a Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC)
doubleheader. Game scores were 15-2 and 6-1.
In game one, Sheneman hit for the cycle. He finished game one with four hits and three RBI. Buddy Elgin and AJ Koscelansky each knocked in three RBI.
Jeremy
Hutchison pitched the complete game. In 7.0 innings, she
allowed two runs, one earned, on three hits and struck out six.
In the top of the first, the first five Knights reached base, with
four coming around to score. Sheneman and Koscelansky hit
back-to-back home runs.
In the fourth and fifth innings, Neumann plated five runs.
Sheneman had two-run single in the fourth. The junior hit a triple
in the third inning and then completed the cycles with a double in
the seventh inning.
In game two, Neumann scored three runs in the third, opening with
a two-run single by Kevin Case. In the fifth inning, the
Knights took advantage of a few Cyclones miscues and scored two
unearned runs on a Sheneman single. Neumann added one more run in
the sixth.
Kristian DeLuzio started the game and went 6.0 innings
for the win. He allowed one run on five hits and struck out six.
Alex Summers pitched a scoreless seventh inning and
struck out one.
