The Misericordia offense was firing on all cylinders while Tim Burek picked up his second win of the season in a 29-0 victory over Martin Luther on Friday afternoon. Cole Bixler led the Cougars offense, driving in four runs while D. J Navoczynski, Evan Bush, and Ben Ciraolo all homered in the win. The Cougars amassed 26 hits with a total of 14 different players reaching base in the win.

Ohio Northern batted around in the third and ninth innings and posted a 14-8 victory over Saint John's (Minn.) at Terry Park. Northern scored six times in the top of the third to take a quick 6-2 lead, then scored seven times in the top of the ninth to break a 7-7 tie and register the win. ONU sent 11 batters to the plate in the third and 12 to the plate in the ninth.

Redlands came out firing on all cylinders in Friday's opening game of a three-game SCIAC series against the Occidental College Tigers. The Bulldogs clicked on every level with a full offensive attack and another lights-out performance from freshman hurler Felix Minjarez in a 12-2 seven-inning victory.

In a marathon day, John Carroll would score a season-high 16 runs in a 16-10 win over Alvernia only to surpass that in a 25-3 rout of Finlandia. All nine starters for John Carroll finished with multiple hits as the Blue Streaks would take the first game of the day 16-10 over the Crusaders. John Carroll wasted no time continuing its offensive outburst in the second game. Thirteen players recorded hits as John Carroll would roll to a 25-3 win over Finlandia. It marked the most runs in a game since the Blue Streaks plated 32 against Myers College in a 32-2 win on April 6, 2005.

Saint Mary's (Minn.) ended its 10-game spring trip the way it began - with an offensive explosion. The Cardinals, who kicked off their stay in Florida by scoring 20 runs in an 11-0, 9-2 sweep of MSOE last Sunday, closed things out in the sunshine state in much the same fashion, erupting for another 20 runs in sweeping Gordon 12-3 and 8-4.  The Cardinals used a pair of big innings to pull away in the first game and needed a little late-game heroics in the second game, rallying from a 4-3 deficit for the sweep.

The bats came alive for Loras as they handed MSOE a 12-7 loss on day two of their spring trip. Sophomore Cole Reeg was a home run shy of the cycle, going 3-for-5 with three RBIs.

The St. Vincent Bearcats rallied for eight runs in the eighth inning to erase a four-run deficit and pull out a 12-8 victory over Clark in Winter Haven, Fla. St. Vincent has now scored double digit run totals in three of the six games they have played.

Gabe Gunter went 3-for-4 with a triple, two RBIs, two runs scored and two walks to lead the Kingsmen past CMS.

No. 5 Cal Lutheran continued its hot hitting on Friday afternoon with an 11-1 victory over Claremont-Mudd-Scripps at Arce Field. A week after pouring out 50 hits and 48 runs in a series sweep against Caltech, the Kingsmen added 17 more hits and 11 runs against a Stags team that is winless on the season.

Otterbein moved to 8-0 with a 23-3 win over Baruch. The Cardinals opened a 16-1 lead with a 12 run third inning. Jordan Ashbrook had the first of many big hits in the third as Ashbrook drove in his four RBIs with his first home run of the year.

A pair of neutral site games seemed to be exactly what the Lynchburg Hornets needed as the Hornets downed Eastern University 11-0 in game one before taking game two 6-4 on Friday afternoon. The game, originally scheduled to take place on the Hornet's home field in Lynchburg, was moved to the USA Baseball Complex in Cary, North Carolina due to recent weather in central Virginia. Lincoln Evans ended with a 4-for-5 day for Lynchburg with three RBI and a run scored while Joe Tomasulo added three hits, two runs and two RBI.

Wartburg moved to 4-1 on the season in its 11-7 win over Rose-Hulman, where four Knights hit home runs. This was one shy of the single-game school record set against Cornell on April 2, 2010. DJ Utley and Milton Croes went back-to-back in the sixth inning, sandwiched between Ryan Kemp and Blake Wilson's round trippers.
