UMass-Boston pulled out a 10-8 12 inning victory in the opener and then combined for 16 hits and eight runs to take the nightcap by the final of 8-2 to sweep the Owls of Keene State in a Little East Conference doubleheader. On the day the Beacons bats combined for 28 hits to earn their first conference sweep of the 2015 campaign. 

Down late in both of its games at Whittier, Claremont-Mudd-Scripps found a way to win on each occasion as CMS swept the SCIAC doubleheader and captured the weekend series win. In the first game of the day, CMS overcame a six-run deficit and came away with a 12-9 win. They then followed that up with a 5-4 come-from-behind win in the series finale.

Moravian swept a Landmark Conference doubleheader against Juniata, taking the first game 16-0, and the following it up with a 15-3 second win as the Greyhounds honored the 1960 MAC Championship team at Gillespie Field between games. On the mound, freshman Dan Morrin pitched a full game only allowing two hits and earning the shutout with six strikeouts for his third win of the season while freshman Ryan Kahn also pitched a full game with six strikeouts which earned him his third victory of the season.

Texas-Dallas extended its winning streak to 10 games with a pair of walk-off 4-3 victories over Louisiana College to complete a weekend sweep of the Wildcats in ASC play. The Comets secured their 14th straight 20-win season after getting a walk-off home run by Jimmy Norris in Saturday's opener and a two-run, bases-loaded double by Pierce Fly in the series finale.

Senior Michael Lyon pitched a complete game while his classmates got the job done offensively against Delaware Valley, as the Valiants swept the Aggies in a Freedom Conference doubleheader, winning game one 10-5 before a 5-2 game two win. Lyon tossed seven strong innings for Manhattanville in game two, helping deliver a Freedom Conference series sweep of Delaware Valley.

Ithaca scored a combined 12 runs in their final at bats of a doubleheader sweep at Utica. Ithaca won the opener, 9-5, and took game two, 10-8, to improve to 10-9 on the season. Ithaca trailed for the entire opener until the Bombers strung together seven runs in their final at bat. In the nightcap, sophomore Trevor Thompson dealt the big blow to complete the doubleheader comeback sweep with a three-run homerun in the top of the ninth inning.

Penn College picked up a pair of NEAC wins against Gallaudet. The Wildcats won 13-0 and 3-1. In game one, Penn College took control with seven runs in the eighth inning. Stellar pitching from starter Aaron Palmer gave the Wildcats the sweep.

Senior third baseman Tyler Santaniello and classmate right fielder Pat Rogers combined for 11 hits, two doubles, one home run and six RBI to lead the Rhode Island College Anchormen to a sweep of Little East foe Eastern Connecticut in a conference doubleheader played at Anchorman field. The Anchormen topped the Warriors, 10-2, in game one and, 16-7, in the second game.

Rowan swept both games of a NJAC doubleheader at William Paterson. The Profs took the first game, 14-6 and won the nightcap, 14-5. Righthander Ryan Easterday threw seven innings for the victory in the opener. He gave up four runs, three earned on 11 hits. Lefty Ryan Sharkey earned the win in game two. He went five innings and allowed five runs, four earned on 10 hits with six strikeouts.

Rochester stretched its school record win streak to 16 games by sweeping a Liberty League doubleheader at Vassar. Rochester won game one 6-0 behind a complete game shutout from junior Evan Janifer and squeezed out a 4-3 victory in game two.

Junior Everett Walsh drove in all three runs to back a solid six inning effort on the mound from sophomore Daniel Avery as Mass-Maritime completed a sweep of a MASCAC doubleheader with MCLA with a 3-1 nightcap triumph at Joe Zavattaro Field.  In the opener, junior Kevin Kwedor scattered six hits and struck out six in recording his fifth win of the spring with a 5-3 Buccaneer triumph.

Mitchell won the first two games of its weekend NECC series against Lesley by final scores of 7-1 and 15-5 at Alumni Field. Rafael Garcia went 4-for-6 with four doubles and five RBI on the day to lead Mitchell. Mitchell starters Al Jordan Johnson and Tyler Shamas each picked up wins on the mound and improved to 5-0 on the year.

After scoring just three runs in its MIAC split against Gustavus a week ago, the Saint Mary's (Minn.) kicked its offense into high gear on Saturday. The Cardinals erupted for 23 runs and 29 hits, including three home runs and 11 extra-base hits, in sweeping past the Scots 7-5 and 16-3.

Trinity (Conn.) offense came alive in the final inning of game two to break open a tie game and capture a 6-3 win and cap the Bantams' sweep of the Bowdoin Polar Bears after taking the first game 1-0.

The Aurora Spartans swept Wisconsin Lutheran, winning 7-6 and 8-3. The Spartans took a 7-0 lead before the visiting Warriors scored six runs in the ninth inning to put stress on the home crowd. AU scored three runs in the fourth, one in the fifth and three in the seventh with a combination of timely hitting and manufacturing runs with stolen bases and multiple squeeze plays. Eight of the nine AU hitters collected a hit, led by Adam Lipscomb (3-for5). In game two the offense continued to pound out hits with all nine starters collecting a base hit and pitcher Cody Love threw a complete game for the win.

DePauw was back in NCAC action Saturday afternoon taking on league rival Wabash. The Tigers hung on to a 4-3 victory in game one and battled back to win the nightcap by a final score of 16-7.
