Sophomore Kyle McKelvy earned the victory over Messiah on the mound for the Pride. He allowed two runs, eight hits, walked one and fanned five in six-plus innings of work.

Widener knocked out Messiah and Stevenson in Commonwealth elimination play on Friday. The Pride defeated Messiah 13-5 and Stevenson 8-6. The Pride's Matthew Guarino broke a scoreless tie in the top of the sixth inning with an RBI single and Widener was able to add on and holf off Messiah. Alvernia will play Widener for a conference title. The Crusaders used a Brok Martin walkoff single to advance to the Championship game with a 6-5 win.
Cortland opened their SUNYAC defense with a 14-5 win over Fredonia. Brockport will face Cortland as the Golden Eagles got some revenge against Oswego for a previous series sweep by putting the Lakers on the brink of elimination following the Golden Eagles 8-7.
Junior R.J. Gray drove in three runs to back a complete-game effort on the mound from sophomore Mike Andrews as fourth-seeded Framingham State posted a 6-3 victory over top-seeded Massachusetts Maritime in second round action of the 2015 MASCAC Championship at Commodore Hendy Field. Salem State was also a winner as Andrew Deloury launched two home runs and Mike Richardson pitched seven innings of shutout baseball, blanking Worcester State, 6-0.
Salve Regina won for the second day in a row with a 15-5 win over Gordon to move to 2-0 in the CCC Tournament. Curry used a 3-2 win over Roger Williams to also move to 2-0. Endicott survived their first elimination game by defeating the #2 seed Western New England 1-0 at North Field behind a combined shutout effort from Davarn Nova and Nick Quattro.
Rutgers-Camden, TCNJ, and Kean all won in second round games in the NJAC tournament. TCNJ sent Rowan home with a 5-1 win and will play the Kean, the remaining undefeated team. Kean prevailed 5-4 over Ramapo and left the bases loaded with Roadrunners in the bottom of the ninth. Ramapo will play Rutgers-Camden, a 7-0 winner over Montclair, in an elimination game to open the third round.
Devin Hayes pitched seven innings of scoreless baseball to lead the Spartans to a 4-1 victory over the fourth-seeded Maine-Farmington Beavers in the opening game of the North Atlantic Conference Tournament at Spartan Field. Thomas defeated Husson 10-7 and the Eagles turned the tables on Maine-Farmington 8-3, ending the Beavers NAC title dreams.
Third-seeded Farmingdale State fell, 2-1, to #2 Old Westbury in the first game of the Skyline Conference playoffs today at St. Joseph's (L.I). The Rams will now face #4 Maritime, a 13-2 loser to host St. Joseph (L.I.).
Texas Lutheran scored just three runs in two games of the four team SCAC tournament, but allowed three runs rin each game to make an early exit. Trinity (Texas) and Southwestern won over the Bulldogs and will play on Saturday. Trinity will play Centenary in a winners bracket contest and Southwestern, a 10-0 loser to Centenary will wait to play the loser of the Trinity/Centenary game.
Redlands and La Verne scored in double digits to advance to the winners game in the SCIAC tournament. The Leopards opened the tournament with a 12-3 win over top seed Cal Lutheran. Redlands was a 10-4 winner over Pomona-Pitzer.

Louisiana College remained in the hunt for the 2015 ASC Tournament on Friday night, as they took down the East Texas Baptist Tigers 2-1 in game one of their series in Marshall, Texas at Woods Field.

Senior pitcher Dylan Cummiskey allowed just one run in eight innings of work in game one, while junior shortstop Gian Abbruzzese notched three RBI between the two games, to lead Rhode Island College in their Little East regular season finale at Plymouth State. The Anchormen won game one by a score of 7-1 before Plymouth State won game two, 3-2.
Thiel recorded a 4-0 Presidents' Athletic Conference victory over the Saint Vincent Bearcats on the road. Matt Elko shut down the Bearcats offense en route to a complete game, two-hit shutout to record his eighth win of the season. Elko struck out thirteen batters and only allowed one walk.
Keystone went wire to wire in a 13-6 victory over visiting Gwynedd Mercy in a CSAC game at Christy Mathewson Field. The Giants won their nine consecutive game.
Junior Sam Dexter hit a home run and threw out the potential tying run at home to end the game and give Southern Maine a 2-1 victory over Mass-Dartmouth in the nightcap of the teams’ Little East Conference doubleheader. The victory gave the Huskies the LEC regular season title and the right to host next week’s six-team, double-elimination tournament that starts Wednesday morning. USM has won or shared the LEC regular season title the past four years. The Corsairs, who needed to sweep the Huskies to earn the top seed coming into Friday’s twin bill, overcame a one-run deficit in the ninth inning to win the first game 6-5.
