St. John Fisher adds win on Monday

St. John Fisher scored six of the game's final seven runs and rallied for a 8-6 win over host Rochester Institute on Monday.  Fisher took the lead for good in the top of the eighth when Mike Roman's sacrifice fly scored the game-winning run. The Cardinals have gone 3-1 since making the regional rankings last Thursday and have two games against regionally ranked Brockposrt and Cortland on their regular season schedule.

Rutgers-Camden bounced back from a loss in the NJAC championship game to earn a 6-5 win over Stevens. Joe Brooks and Brett Tenuto had three hits for the Scarlet Raptor.

Carleton closed the 2015 campaign with an 8-3 victory at Northland. The Knights collected 13 hits—all singles—and got a stellar performance from the bullpen to secure the win and finish the year on a three-game win streak.

Marian closed out the 2015 regular season with a convincing 5-1 victory over Maranatha Baptist at Herr-Baker Field. Trailing 1-0 to start the bottom of the sixth, Adam Ryan hit a two-run inside-the-park home run to deep left center field as the Sabres took a lead they would hold throught the final out.

Crown's second comeback stuck against Finlandia as the Storm scored eight fifth inning runs e route to a 14-5 win. Crown centerfielder Harry Ballantyne was a home run away from the cycle as the outfielder accounted for five runs.

Corey Podvasnik hit a grand slam and had six RBI over two games as La Roche swept Otterbein 15-6, 9-6. The Red hawks are 4-0 in May and will look to extend their four game win streak with a Tuesday game with Marietta. The sweep sets a school-record for most regular season wins.

Lesley punched their ticket to the NECC Championship Tournament for the second straight season as the Lynx overcame three separate deficits in a do-or-die game to top Daniel Webster 6-4 in the regular season finale. Lesley will enter the postseason as the third-seed and will square off with second-seeded Elms on Friday. Elms wrapped up their regular season campaign with a 12-5 victory over visiting Holyoke Community College.

Chicago took advantage of several miscues to defeat Edgewood 5-3. Michael Davis wrapped up solid pitching performances from the UChicago staff. Junior Nick Watson got the win to improve his season record to 5-2. Watson tossed the opening six innings with two runs, eight hits, two walks and four strikeouts. Senior Andrew VanWazer followed with one inning of relief that included one run, one hit, two walks and one strikeout. Senior Simon Swanson allowed one hit in his one inning of work. Davis walked one and struck out one in the ninth inning for his first save.
