LaGrange held off Methodist 7-6, overcoming five errors, on Monday at Cleaveland Field in Williamson Stadium. The win completed a three-game sweep of the USA South conference series against the Monarchs. The Panthers' 10th straight win is the longest for the team since the 2005 season and the fourth longest by a Panther team in the NCAA era.

Battling temperatures that hovered around the freezing mark, Heidelberg swept Mount Union. Originally scheduled for Saturday, Heidelberg won 4-1 in the first game and 9-4 in the nightcap. TJ Harkness had two of Heidelberg's eight doubles in the twin bill.

Coty Franklin tossed his first complete-game shutout for Hope in an 8-0 win against Calvin at Boeve Stadium. Snow then halted the Flying Dutchmen's bid to sweep the MIAA doubleheader. The nine-inning series finale has been rescheduled for 4 p.m. Tuesday.

Mary Washington split its Monday doubleheader at 12th ranked Salisbury, falling 11-6 in the opener before rolling to a 23-6 win in five innings in the nightcap. Mary Washington had 12 extra-base hits on the game two win with four home runs while Salisbury outslugged the Eagles in game one 5-1. The game two win was the Eagles' third this season against a top-15 opponent.

Olivet split a doubleheader against MIAA rival Trine at Jannen Field in Angola, Indiana. Senior Colin Boak pitched a complete game, three-hitter to lead the Comets to a 2-1 win in game one. The Thunder gained the split with a 9-6 come-from-behind victory in game two.

Behind another dominating pitching performance from Michael Thomas in game one, and a powerful offensive display in both games, 11th-ranked Christopher Newport swept a non-conference doubleheader against N.C. Wesleyan at Captains Park. Thomas retired the last 16 batters he faced, and allowed just one hit over 6 innings of work to lead CNU to a 14-0 win in game one, and Connor Henderson blasted a pair of home runs, highlighting a come-from-behind win, 10-6, in game two.
