Rutgers-Newark came back twice in their 9-7 win over Hood. Trailing 5-1, they rallied to tie the game but had to put another four spot the next inning to claim the win. Freshman Colin Powers tallied the game-winning hit for the Scarlet Raiders with a one-out single in the eighth inning that broke an 8-8 deadlock.
Springfield totaled five runs in the final two innings to topple William Paterson, 9-5, at Henley Field as the Pride registered 15 hits in the game. Peter Marsicano went 3-for-5 with three RBI in the victory for the Pride, while both Colin King and Nick LeDuc each collected two hits.
Senior Vaibhav Desai threw a complete game and drove in a run at the plate to lead the Becker Hawks to a 6-3 victory over Rensselaer Polytechnic Instistute at Lake Myrtle Sports Complex. Desai allowed three runs (1 earned) on five hits in 9.0 innings. He struck out three and did not walk a batter.
Webster defeated the 8th-ranked UW-La Crosse, 4-0, at the Russ Matt Central Florida Invitational, in Auburndale, FL. The Gorloks went with Johnny Lord for his first start on the mound for the season and he responded with 6.1 scoreless innings for the win.
Westminster (Pa.) scored twice in the bottom of the ninth and the Titans handed Gettysburg a 4-3 setback. The Bullets led 3-1 through seven innings before Westminster scored once in the eighth and rallied in the ninth. With two outs, the Titans loaded the bases on a pair of singles and a walk before No. 5 hitter Brandon Rossier ended the game with a two-run walk-off single. Joseph Salmen threw a complete-game for the Titans, scattering nine hits and striking out 13.
Emory & Henry earned a win in game two to salvage a doubleheader split with Albertus Magnus in its first two games at The Ripken Experience. The Falcons won game one by a 4-3 score in eight innings while the Wasps salvaged the split by a 12-6 score in the nightcap.
In a non-conference game against a conference opponent, Cal Lutheran traveled to Whittier edged the Poets 5-4 at Memorial Field. Austin Kay led the Kingsmen at the plate, going 3-for-5, while Gabe Gunter and Bradley Fullerton tallied two hits apiece.

No. 24 Suffolk scored early – one run in the first and second inning, respectively – and held off Rochester Tech down the stretch to return to the win column, 2-1, at Henley Field apart of the RussMatt Central Florida Invitational. Ryan Pordes went the complete nine to grab his first win of the season. The junior hurler gave up one run on six hits and sat down six batters.
SUNY Old Westbury pounded out 23 hits to open play Tuesday afternoon at the Gene Cusic Collegiate Classic with a 24-16 non-conference win over the Lasell College Lasers (2-2) in Fort Myers, Florida. Seven Old Westbury players had extra-base hits with Tommy Zieger collecting two, a double and home run.
Edgewood posted their biggest offensive output of the season in an 11-2 victory over Illinois College. However, the Eagles five-game season opening win streak came to an end later in the day with a 12-6 loss to New York University.
Framingham State swept a pair of games this afternoon with Minnesota-Morris at the RussMatt Central Florida Invitational. The Rams took the opener 3-2 before securing an 11-5 victory in game two. The Rams were 7-for-7 in the leadoff spot with Kyle Lippert getting the first four hits and Aaron Williams finishing with three.
Sophomore starting pitcher Zack Kotin pitched seven hitless innings of shutout baseball for Washington University and nearly combined with senior Jake Mintz for the no-hitter before Centenary (N.J.) was able to reach base on an infield single in the top of the ninth of the Bears 5-0 win at Lake Myrtle Field #5 in Auburndale, Florida. Kotin threw seven innings without allowing a single hit or issuing a walk. He did however hit two batters while striking out five. Mintz entered the game in the eighth inning the same way Kotin began the first by hitting the first batter he faced. Mintz followed Kotin's lead and worked around the leadoff man reaching first as the duo combined for nine shutout innings and nine strikeouts.
Millikin scored its fourth straight win defeating Hardin-Simmons 16-11 in Abilene, Texas. Junior Julian Gutierrez led the Millikin attack going 3-6 with two doubles and six RBIs. Taylor Cooling, Jake Todd and Garrett Buckner each had three hits for Hardin-Simmons.
Olivet defeated Daniel Webster, 6-3, on a blustery afternoon at the Chain of Lakes Sports Complex in Winter Haven, Florida for the Comets first win of the season. The game was decided in the sixth inning. After five scoreless innings Olivet outscored Daniel Webster 4-3 in the inning, providing enough of a margin for the win.
SUNY Canton jumped out to a 4-2 lead but four runs in the sixth inning helped lift Denison to a 7-5 victory at North Charlotte Regional Park. Denison has taken advantage of defensive miscues in the early part of the season, fielding 40 points higher than thier opponents and today was no different as all four sixth inning runs were unearned.

Arcadia came from behind to defeat Marietta, 4-3, at the Snowbird Classic. Joseph Warren earned the win, tossing a gem working 7.1 innings and allowing three runs six hits with nine strikeouts. He walked four. Chris Keesser notched the save with 1.1 innings of shutout relief.
Endicott knocked Rutgers-Camden pitching around for 18 hits resulting in a 14-7 victory over the Scarlet Raptors at the Lake Myrtle Sports Complex main field. Senior shortstop Mike Kochiss led the barrage of offense with a 4-for-5 performance at the plate capped off with a two-run homerun off the scoreboard in deep left to help put the game away. His two doubles were part of six extra-base hits for the Gulls. Kochiss finished the game with four runs scored and two RBIs.
Ithaca built a 12-0 lead over La Verne after the top of the fourth inning, and hung on to defeat the Leopards, 13-10, at Campus West Athletics Facilities. Ithaca snaps La Verne's five-winning streak to improve to 4-2 on the season, while La Verne falls to 12-6.
Westfield State scored nine runs in the first inning en route to a 15-8 win over The College at Brockport in Winter Haven, Florida. Owls' sophomore pitcher Jaime Butler started for the Owls and recorded the win. Brockport's senior pitcher Moxley took the loss. Alex Lafayette finished 2-4 at the plate and drove in four runs, and Colin Dunn rapped out three hits for Westfield.
Ciro Frontale drove in the game's only run in a 1-0, extra-inning victory in game one, before knocking in a pair in the top of the sixth to break a 5-all tie as the Devils claimed a 7-6 victory in game two, sweeping Farmingdale State.
Mary Hardin-Baylor jumped out to a 7-0 first inning lead and never looked back as the Cru rolled to a 12-8 victory over Blackburn in Belton. Mark Frankhouser finished with three hits and four RBI to lead the Cru offense. Austin Blanford also had three hits.
Rafael Perozo's triple in the top of the ninth gave Alfred State a 5-4 win over Wells at the Ripken Experience. Perozo finished 5-for-5 with 4 RBI on the day.
