Troy Terzi tossed a complete game, two-hit shutout to lead Keystone to a 6-0 win over Kean on Tuesday. Terzi allowed a single and double and walked just one while striking out seven in the 94 pitch effort. Keystone provided a balanced scoring attack, plating two runs in the first and adding single runs in the third, sixth, seventh and ninth. The Giants had a batter reach in every inning.
Shenandoah celebrated its position atop the national baseball rankings with an 8-4 non-league victory over Dickinson. The No. 1 Hornets batted around as they scored five runs in the first and did not look back versus Dickinson.
Ryan Sciullo drove in three runs and had two outfield assists at home plate as Washington & Jefferson returned to its winning ways with an 11-6 win over St. Thomas (Minn.) at Chain of Lakes Park. Dan Trettel finished 3-for-4 with a triple, three RBIs and two runs scored, while Sciullo was 2-for-3, with three RBIs.
Down 4-1 in the third, it looked like Centenary (La.) may have a repeat of a loss in Tyler a month ago. What did the Maroon and White respond with? Key two-out hits and 6.1 innings of relief from junior Cole Lavergne. The #15 Gents scored five runs and held off the Patriots in the ninth as Centenary knocked off #6 Texas-Tyler 6-5 in Tyler.
Runs in the seventh and eighth innings propelled Wesley over the Washington College Shoremen. Chris Seibert and Mike Calverese each went 2-for-5 with a run scored. Seibert and Cody Dmiterchik each tallied three-run doubles respectively. Trey Mears scored three times from the leadoff spot. Connor Springsteen picked up his second win of the season in two innings of relief.
LaGrange downed Emory 9-4 in a match up of nationally-ranked teams at Chappell Park. The fifth-ranked Panthers handed the third-ranked Eagles their third straight loss, while stretching their winning streak to nine games. LaGrange banged out 17 hits in the game. Casey Bell was one of four Panthers with three hits each in the game. Bell had a double included in his three hits and drove in four runs. Billy Peatross, Chad Pigg, and Tavin Thompson all had three hits. Blane Swift hit his second home run in as many games.
Baldwin Wallace hit a season-high tying four home runs as it powered to a 12-4 non-conference victory against Ohio Wesleyan on Fisher Field. BW scored 12 runs on 13 hits as it plated one run in the first, three runs in the third inning on dingers from junior third baseman Spencer Badia and senior right fielder Alex Marcum, one in the fifth on a blast from senior All-Ohio Athletic Conference centerfielder Cole Nieto, four runs in the sixth, one in the seventh and its final two runs in the eighth. Ohio Wesleyan scored two runs each in the third and seventh.

No. 4 ranked UW-Whitewater scored a pair of early runs to make a dominant pitching performance hold up in a 3-1 triumph over Clarkson in the team's fifth game at the RussMatt Invitational at Chain of Lakes Stadium. Junior pitcher Austin Jones retired the last 15 batters he faced to finish off a complete-game, two-hitter. The right-hander surrendered only one run and struck out a pair and didn't allow another base runner after a leadoff walk in the bottom of the fifth.
Mount Union extended its win streak to six games with 7-0 and 4-2 wins at Westminster in New Wilmington, Pa. In the opener, Mount Union starting pitcher Mitch McCristall and Beau Taylor combined to shut out Westminster on just three hits. Westminster tied the game with two in the sixth but the Raiders came back with two in seventh for the winning score.
Senior Nick Comei enjoyed a 5-for-5 day, including his 25th career double and fifth career home run as WPI held off visiting Nichols 11-7 in a non-conference contest at the New England Baseball Complex. The Engineers run their winning-streak to four games and simultaneously halt the Bison streak at three.
Junior Connor Kennedy and freshman Ethan O’Hare each collected three hits and four RBI as Mass-Maritime overcame a four-run sixth inning deficit by scoring 17 runs in its final three at-bats to post an 18-9 non-league victory over Dean at Commodore Hendy Field.
Sophomore Adam Schwartz knocked six hits and drove in four runs and freshman Kevin Linitz rapped four hits, scored six times with five RBI as the St. Joseph's (Brooklyn) saw their first action up north, taking a pair of convincing victories over Yeshiva, 13-1 and 22-3, opening Skyline Conference play at Baseball Heaven.
Alma suffered a 6-5 setback to Marygrove as the Scots opened the home portion of the 2017 campaign at Klenk Park. Senior Greg Goffee tallied two hits and two RBIs in the loss, as Alma dropped to 2-10 on the season. Goffee also stole a pair of bases to increase his total to 13 thefts in 12 games. Freshman Ben Blake was credited with the loss after four innings of relief work on the mound, giving up two runs and striking out five.
First-year catcher Alex Rodriguez went 4-for-4 with three runs, two RBI, two doubles, and a walk to lead the Trinity (Conn.) Bantams to a 18-5 victory over the visiting Eastern Connecticut State. Trinity has scored 35 runs in its last two games.
