New Rochelle freshman Adam Gonzalez, LHP from Torrance, Ca., dished out 20 of 30 first pitch strikes and silenced Baruch 5-0 in front of a nice home crowd on New Rochelle's Senior Day in Purchase, N.Y. on Sunday. While the day was dedicated to senior Malik Dixon who started the first game, CNR fell 3-0 and left it up to Gonzalez to save the day. Gonzalez was sharp, keeping Baruch off balance for the entire game giving up only 5 hits, 4 walks and recording 3 strikeouts. Gonzalez also contributed with the bat, getting 3 hits on the day and played left field yesterday vs. Penn State Brandywine and recorded 3 hits as well.

Southern Vermont College broke its record for the most runs scored in a conference game on Sunday—a mark set earlier this season—as the visiting Mountaineers pulled away for a 21-6 NECC victory over Becker at Rochdale Park. SVC was up 5-0 going into the top of the sixth, and that's when the Mountaineer bats exploded for 11 runs and the comfortable advantage. Becker got on the board in the home half of the frame, but Southern Vermont's offense continued to score over the next two innings to secure the win and keep the Hawks from taking the season sweep.

Mount Saint Mary won a pair of pitcher's duals on Sunday afternoon, winning both ends of a doubleheader against Maritime by identical 2-1 scores. Senior Blake Keenan posted the win in game one, working his third straight complete game. Keenan allowed 10 hits in the opener, but no extra bases hits, and walked only one as he won his fourth straight decision for the Knights. Junior Christian Spano moved to 3-1 on the season for the Knights in his fourth start of the season. He worked 5.1 innings for the Knights, allowing a single unearned run on five hits. Michael DiGiovanni picked up his second save in as many days, recording the final five outs and fanning one.

Greensboro swept a non-conference doubleheader against the Generals of Washington & Lee Sunday.  With the two wins, the Pride won the season series between the two schools, 3-1, after splitting a doubleheader on Feb. 18. Cameron Peters went a perfect 4-for-4 at the plate to lead Greensboro in game one, adding another hit in game two for five on the day in 8 trips to the plate.

Junior Chris Wood laced an opposite-field single to left field to plate the decisive run as UMass-Dartmouth edged Tufts 9-8 in 10 innings this afternoon at Huskins Field. Senior Brandon Polignone worked a lead-off walk to put the go-ahead run at first in the top of the 10th inning.  UMass Dartmouth capitalized on a Jumbos' defensive miscue to place the winning run in scoring position with just one out.  Wood dropped a two-out single in front of the diving Tufts left fielder to deliver the eventual game-winning run and extend the Corsairs' winning streak to three.

UW-La Crosse split a WIAC doubleheader with UW-Stevens Point Sunday at Copeland Park. The Pointers earned a 2-0 win the opener before the Eagles came back to take the nightcap, 11-3. UWL is now 14-9 overall and 6-4 in the WIAC while UW-Stevens Point is 18-5 overall and 10-1 in the conference. Ben Miller (3-1) earned the complete-game shutout for UW-Stevens Point in the opener Sunday afternoon. He went 9.0 innings, allowing four hits and one walk with five strikeouts.  UWL left six runners on base in the game, including a pair in scoring position in the first inning. Miller retired 13 of the final 14 batters he faced. UW-La Crosse scored seven runs through the first three innings of the nightcap as the Eagles handed the Pointers their first league loss of the season.

Beloit topped Illinois College 5-4 in 11 innings followed by a 7-6 rout of Grinnell College in a pair of games played at Galesburg High School Sunday afternoon. Single run innings added to the drama in game one as the Blue Boys played spoiler each time the Buccaneers took the lead until the 11^th inning. The Bucs scored single runs in the first and third while IC tallied scores in the first and fifth sending the game into the final frame of regulation knotted at 2-2. The Buccaneers came back from a 5-1 deficit to register the win in game two.

An RBI single by Jackson Blevins and a sacrifice fly from Andrew Jumonville provided Wabash with a lead in the tenth inning that eventually ended in a 10-9 victory at Manchester. Wabash (22-9) held an 8-4 lead through seven innings before Manchester (16-16) scored four runs in the bottom half of the eighth inning to even the score and send the game into extra innings. The Little Giants led off the tenth with a single from Henry Wannemuehler, then moved pinch runner Nick Chao to second with a sacrifice bunt. After Chao stole third base and Sean Roginski drew a walk, Blevins drilled a single up the middle to score Chao with the go-ahead run. Roginski moved to third on a wild pitch and scored the much-needed insurance run on Jumonville's sacrifice fly to right field. The Spartans collected a pair of singles in the bottom half of the tenth, scoring a run with a sacrifice of their own to trim the lead to one run. Zach Moffett retired the final batter of the game to earn his sixth save of the season. Moffett worked one inning of relief and allowed one run on two hits.

Union dropped an 11-9 decision before rebounding for a 15-1 win against St. Lawrence on Sunday afternoon at Shuttleworth Park. St. Lawrence got on the board first in game one, scoring eight runs through the first two innings. The Dutchmen battled with the Saints, scoring seven runs in the same span, including six runs in the bottom of the second. However, the Saints would go on to take the 11-9 victory for their lone win of the weekend. In game two, Union responded with 21 hits to crush the Saints 15-1 to force a split in the doubleheader. After holding a 4-1 lead through three innings, the Dutchmen put up eight in the fourth to put the game far out of reach.

Aurora University rebounded with an important rivalry sweep in a NACC doubleheader with Benedictine University on Sunday afternoon, winning 10-4 and 6-1. Aurora was behind for just one inning on the day with leads in fifteen of those innings as they erased a one run deficit in game one in the second inning and won wire-to-wire n game two.

It produced the only run Hamline would score all night against Bethel in Collegeville Sunday night. But it was enough to give the Pipers a split of the doubleheader. Elliot Engen lined a one out single with the bases loaded in the last of the seventh inning to lift HU to a n1-0 win over the Royals in the second game of the twinbill. The last licks win offset the opener, a 5-0 Bethel victory. Evan Bayer threw six solid innings as a starter, holding the Royals to just one hit. Zack Smith who pitched a scoreless seventh, ended up the winning pitcher and is now 3-3 on the season. The Royals scored four runs in the top of the first inning of game one and that was enough as Carson Selin tossed a complete-game shutout, allowing six hits and one walk while striking out seven in 7.0 innings.
