Scoring in seven of the nine innings, North Central (Ill.) cruised to a 12-6 win over Millikin on Wednesday night, as senior outfielder Jeremy Quade is quietly cementing himself into the program's all-time record book.

Senior Scott Sada became the NCAA Division III all-time leader in career doubles with 82, getting a two-bagger in each game against Medaille in Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference action on Wednesday. The second double of the day found fair territory down the left-field line to break the NCAA Division III record that was set back in 2016 by Sam Dexter, Southern Maine). Medaille took game one 8-1 and the Lions came back in the night cap, 8-3 on a day the two teams combined for 11 errors in the doubleheader.

The nation's leading offense put on a show as 2nd-ranked Christopher Newport scored a season-high 27 runs on 23 hits and ran away from the Hampden-Sydney Tigers (13-13-2) on the road. The Captains improved to 24-3 overall with a 27-3 victory in non-conference action.  The Captains wasted no time in attacking the Tigers pitching staff, scoring seven runs in the top of the 1st with six hits, including five for extra bases. CNU blasted a pair of two-run home runs and also had two triples in the frame, breaking open the contest before the home team ever even came to the plate.  During the offensive outburst, Christopher Newport senior Jordan Mason made a bit of individual history during his first at-bat of the game. With a line drive single into right field, Mason picked up his 200th career base hit to become just the sixth player in program history to reach the milestone.

Ramapo defeated St. Joseph's (L.I.) on the road, 6-1. The Roadrunners, who have won seven of their last eight games, improve to 13-9 overall while the Golden Eagles even their record at 13-13 overall. Ramapo starting pitcher Tyler Lombardo (3-0) worked through the eighth inning with four strikeouts and two walks to earn the win. Lombardo scattered six hits and surrendered just one run (unearned). Thomas Feehan worked the ninth inning to close out the game for Ramapo facing four batters, walking just one. Anthony Kuzmenko and Vincent Timpanelli each collected two hits in the game while Kuzmenko recorded a team high two RBI. Hardy finished 1-3 with one run scored and one RBI.

Despite holding nationally-ranked Babson to just two hits, Springfield dropped a 3-0 decision to the Beavers in NEWMAC play at Archie Allen Field. Wednesday's game marked the first time since April 30, 2016 that Babson has been held to two or fewer hits in a contest, with the last coming in a 6-0 loss to MIT in the NEWMAC semifinals. Jordy Allard got the nod and pitched 6.0 innings, holding the maroon and white to just six hits while striking out five. Max Tannenbaum took the ball in the ninth and held the Pride to just one hit en route to his fifth save of the year.

The College at Brockport baseball team scored in all but one inning in defeating RPI, 12-3, at Robison Field. With the win, the Golden Eagles improve to 10-15 overall, while the Engineers drop to 11-12. Five players recorded multiple hits for Brockport, including three apiece from first baseman Anthony Eaton and shortstop Charlie Serino. Third baseman Louis Miceli was 1 for 4 with four runs batted in. RPI was paced offensively by sophomores Richard Drum, who went 2 for 4 with a walk and a run and Joseph Curci, who as 2 for 3 with a run batted in.

Sophomore DH Jack Rich drove in four runs with three run-scoring singles and junior righty Jared Buckley pitched a five-hitter over the first five innings as the Eastern Connecticut State downed Dean, 13-5, Wednesday afternoon at Longley Field. In a game featuring 11 errors, Eastern pounded out 14 hits, four of them doubles. Junior centerfielder Jake LeFevre came off the bench to drove in two runs with a single and sacrifice fly, and freshman catcher and cleanup hitter Matt Malcom reached four times with two singles, a walk and error, and scored three times. Senior first baseman Alex Parkos also reached four times with a second-inning RBI single, two walks and a hit-by-pitch, and scored three times.

Texas-Dallas extended its current winning streak to a season-high five games as the Comets earned a 10-3 road win over Austin in non-conference play. The Comets (14-16) pounded out 15 hits while scoring in all but two innings as the Comets continue its hot streak. UTD will look to get to .500 for the first time this season as the Comets visit McMurry for a three-game American Southwest Conference road series, starting Friday. Comet freshman starter Orion Drymond (1-4) picked up his first win collegiate win, giving up just two earned run on five hits in 5.0 innings on the mound. Drymond struck out two 'Roo batters while issuing three walks. Jordan Box, Josiah Rohne and Carter Cochrane combined for 4.0 relief innings, allowing a combined one unearned run on just two hits.

Junior Nick Carlini reached first on a sacrifice bunt and senior Chris Panzarella scored on a throwing error by Arcadia's pitcher to give Keystone an 8-7 walkoff win over the visiting Knights in non-conference action on Wednesday afternoon. With the win, Keystone is 9-9 overall. The Knights move to 17-9 on the year. Keystone tallied 15 hits in Wednesday's win, as freshman Devin Reed – the reigning CSAC Hitter of the Week – went 3-for-5 with one run and one RBI at the leadoff spot. Panzarella, senior Johann Paniagua, senior Mohammed Hussein and junior Joe Fichera all finished with two hits apiece.

York (Pa.) escaped with a 7-5 victory over a struggling Wesley College team. Jack Barry led the way for the Spartans going 3-for-3 with a homer and 3 RBIs. Wesley out hit the Spartans 12-10 but provided York ten walks to fuel the Spartan's scoring. York's Brandon White was 2-for-4 with 3 RBIs and Grant Oberholtzer finished 2-for-5.

Behind a strong starting pitching performance from Cameron Goulet, Castleton defeated the Plymouth State Panthers 7-5 on Wednesday evening at Pappas Field on the campus of Franklin Pierce University. The Spartans improve to 11-11 overall and 3-3 in Little East action, while Plymouth State falls to 9-12 and 2-4 in conference play. Offensively, the Spartans recorded nine hits in the contest led by two apiece from Davis Mikell and Dylan Bailey.

After falling behind 4-0, Baldwin Wallace battled back to seal a 7-5 non-conference victory over the No. 7 Wooster, at Art Murray Field. BW (17-8), who has won five straight and eight of their last ten, plated seven runs off 12 hits as two came across in the fourth, three in the eighth, and two more in the ninth. This victory also marks the second time the Yellow Jackets have snapped a nine-game winning streak for Scots. The Yellow Jacket offense was led by senior designated hitter Jacob Bonner as he went 2-for-4, with a two-run single to left center in the fourth, and a fielder's choice run batted-in (RBI) in the ninth as well. Senior first baseman Philip Wells went 2-of-4 at the dish, including an RBI single in the eighth, and also scored a run.

Pitt-Bradford earned its second straight Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference sweep, taking both games against Hilbert Wednesday at the Kessel Athletics Complex. Pitt-Bradford (13-9, 6-4 AMCC) captured game one 4-3 in walk-off fashion before taking the second game 9-3. "Good sweep today," Head Coach Zach Foster said. "The guys grinded out that first game. Dattoli came up big. Bachy threw well. Game two, Eddy kept us in the game and Aires home run sparked us big time. Proud of the way the guys battled today." With the victories, Pitt-Bradford has won four straight and five of its last six.

Gwynedd Mercy had season highs in hits and runs in their 21-1 victory at St. Joseph's Brooklyn on Wednesday afternoon. As a team, the Griffins totaled 21 hits as 16 different players recorded a hit. Five players had two or more hits. Starter Gino Tripodi threw six strong innings, striking out a career-high eight with just one walk on five hits. Cameron Culver worked the final three innings, yielding just one run on four hits with no walks and three K's.

The Allegheny Gators scored in seven of nine innings and pounded out 17 hits to take a 14-5 nonconference decision at Fredonia State. Allegheny moves back to .500 on the baseball season at 11-11 overall. The 17 hits on the afternoon mark the 10th time this season that the Gators have reached double digits in hits in a game. Austin Bristol and Ethan Pawlak both finished with four hits in the game. Bristol ran his hitting streak to a team-leading seven games with his eighth multi-hit contest this season. He finished with a double, two RBI, two runs and a stolen base. Pawlak recorded four singles on the day, driving in two runs and scoring twice. Senior accounted for 14 of Allegheny's 17 hits as Tommy Cannon, Max Sessions and Vincent Carone each collected a pair of base knocks.

A Jordan McDonough blast over the right field fence in the bottom of the tenth propelled  Virginia to a 9-7 victory over North Carolina Wesleyan College Wednesday afternoon at Kenneth R. Perry Field. With the victory, the Marlins improve to 14-11 on the year while N.C. Wesleyan slides to 21-10. The extra inning win almost did not happen as the Marlins found themselves in a pinch as they were down 7-4 starting the bottom of the ninth. Coming off a ninth-inning comeback from just one day before, Virginia Wesleyan still had some magic left in the bag. 

Ithaca faced off against Stevens in the third game of the three-game Empire 8 Conference season series at Freeman Field on Wednesday afternoon, defeating the Ducks, 5-0. The Bombers are now 17-5 overall and 10-1 in Empire 8 play, while Stevens drops to 11-14 and 8-4 in conference. Senior Emmett Dunn recorded his best collegiate performance on the mound, going seven strong innings while striking out seven and giving up just one hit. Dunn is now 4-1 on the season with a conference-leading 1.43 ERA.

Brandeis posted its largest margin of victory under head coach Derek Carlson as the Judges defeated visiting Newbury, 19-4, under the lights of Stein Diamond. The Judges improve to 10-13, while the Nighthawks fall to 5-14. The Judges scored multiple runs in each of the first five innings: three in the first and the second, six in the third, two in the fourth and five in the fifth. Newbury broke through with single runs in the sixth and seventh and two more in the ninth. Brandeis pounded out 20 hits, while NC had 10. Eleven different Judges had hits, with six collecting multi-hit games. The Judges tied two single-game records in the contest. Junior second baseman Victor Oppenheimer was the only starter to play the entire game and tied the single-game mark with seven at-bats, finishing 3-7 with two doubles, two RBI and three runs scored. Sophomore shortstop Mike Khoury came to bat five times and went 3-3 with two walks, scoring five runs to tie a single-game record. He also had three RBI and a double.

Emory used a school record 19 walks to defeat Oglethorpe, 13-1, on Wednesday afternoon at Chappell Park in Atlanta, GA. 12 different Emory batters reached base via a free pass in the contest, with the Eagles drawing at least one walk in every inning except the seventh frame. The previous school record for walks drawn was 16, set on March 9th, 2010 against Washington University. Senior Bubby Terp only drew a single walk compared to a few of his Eagle teammates, but made his presence felt in the early innings, driving in four runs on two base hits within the first five innings, helping Emory build an eight run lead through the opening five frames.
