The 11th-ranked Wooster downed host Oberlin twice, by scores of 18-2 and 17-2, on Tuesday afternoon at Dill Field. Wooster (17-6, 8-0 North Coast Athletic Conference) tagged Oberlin (12-13, 4-6 NCAC) starter Musa Matiwane for four runs in the first inning, the first of which came in on junior Dan Harwood's RBI single. Senior Garrett Crum followed with a double and junior Nick Strausbaugh's two-run triple capped the scoring. Sticking with Strausbaugh, the Fighting Scots' center fielder came to the dish in the fifth inning needing a home run for the cycle, and while he didn't get it, the junior did reach base safely for the fourth time after being hit by a pitch. Leading up to that plate appearance, Strausbaugh doubled and singled in his two trips to the dish during Wooster's nine-run third inning. In addition to Strausbaugh, senior Chandler Dippman and junior Dan Gail both drove in two runs, as the Scots broke the game wide open, 13-1. While Wooster did score in the first for the 12th time over its last 13 games, it was ultimately the third inning when the Scots started to break the nightcap open.

Middlebury scored in six different innings, including six runs in the sixth, and pounded out a season-high 18 hits en route to knocking off Division I Dartmouth (11-19) Tuesday 15-7 at Biondi Park. The victory marked the first win for the Panthers over the Big Green since the 1950 season. Justin Han went 4-6 with four RBI, a triple and a run scored for the Panthers.

Ramapo swept a NJAC conference doubleheader from Stockton, 4-0 in game one and 12-4 in game two. Ramapo starting pitcher Kevin Stewart (4-0) struck out six in six complete innings of work while he scattered three hits. Jeff Millet closed out the game and earned the three-inning save with three strikeouts while he let up just two hits. Kyle Haag (3-2) earned the win in relief as he struck out four, walked none and let up just one hit in three innings of work. Ramapo starting pitcher Nick Recarte earned a no decision with eight strikeouts and five walks. In four innings of work he surrendered four runs and four hits. Riley Weis worked the seventh with two strikeouts and did not give up a hit while Matt Stewart closed out the game in the ninth with two strikeouts and let up just one hit.

Will Krushena improved his hitting streak to 28 games in Denison's doubleheader sweep of Kenyon at Big Red Field. Taking the series 7-4 in game one and 12-9 in game two, the eighth-ranked Big Red tallied their 16^th consecutive victory to improve to 26-2 on the season and 10-0 in the conference. The Lords dropped to 18-11 and 5-5 in the NCAC. Breaking Charlie Apfelbach's 27-game hitting streak in game two with an RBI double in the first, Krushena finished the record-setting performance hitting 4-for-5 while hitting for the cycle (single, double, triple, home run) with six RBIs and three runs scored. It is the second cycle by a Denison player since computerized statistics were implemented in 2000.  The first was by Todd Pitt against Suffolk on March 18, 2006.

Franklin faced their biggest test of the conference schedule, hitting the road for two games against league-leading Rose-Hulman, who entered the night unbeaten in conference play. Franklin (17-11, 6-4 HCAC) fell behind in the opener before putting together a 13-run seventh inning on their way to a 19-8 win. Game two was an evenly-matched contest that went the way of the Engineers (18-8, 7-1 HCAC), 6-4. Ryan Bixler had a game for the ages in the opener as all three of his hits left the yard with nine RBIs, missing the home run cycle by the solo shot.

No. 23-ranked Swarthmore comfortably defeated Centennial Conference rival Haverford 11-2 at Clothier Field. The Garnet (17-10, 5-6) had a season-high 10 extra-base hits against the Fords (14-13, 7-4). Junior Jared Gillen and seniors Charles Levitt and Jackson Roberts all homered. The three of them are tied for the team lead with four home runs this season. Swarthmore had 19 total hits on Tuesday, and Haverford only had four. Junior Ryan Warm started and pitched six innings to pick up his team-best fifth win on the season. He doesn't have any losses in 2019. Senior Charles Groppe pitched two hitless innings in relief, and freshman Oliver Hicks pitched one without allowing a hit. Swarthmore has outscored its opponents by a conference-leading 118 runs this season, but the Garnet are currently in seventh place. Swarthmore's six conference losses have come by an average of 2.6 runs per game. The team has outscored its opponents by eight runs on average in its five conference wins.

No. 13 Adrian defeated visiting Kalamazoo behind a strong pitching performance from sophomore Mo Hanley in Game 1 by a 6-2 score before the Hornets' pitching turned the tables by pinning a 9-4 nightcap loss on the Bulldogs during a Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association baseball doubleheader on Tuesday evening. Hanley improved to 3-0 after throwing a seven-inning complete game with six strikeouts. He allowed two runs, four hits and worked around four walks. John Kunec picked up his first win of the season for Kalamazoo. Kunec threw two innings and struck out two.

Junior Matthew Valente scored the game-winning run when first-year Thomas Lapham took a 3-0 pitch off the shoulder in the bottom of the 10th inning as No. 10/10 Babson College rallied from a six-run deficit to defeat visiting Springfield College, 10-9, in NEWMAC action at Govoni Field. With its sixth consecutive victory, Babson improves to 22-4 overall and 12-2 in league play, while Springfield slips to 16-13 overall and 7-7 in the NEWMAC. Senior Edward Lehr went 3-for-4 with two RBI and two runs scored, Lapham drove in a pair of runs, and both Valente and junior Sean Harrington each had two hits and and RBI for the Beavers. Junior Alex DiMartino also walked twice and scored twice in the win.

Baruch defeated the Panthers of SUNY Old Westbury 12-9 at MCU Park in Brooklyn. The Bearcats had 15 hits against their opponents from the Skyline Conference, as they extended their win streak to four games. The Bearcats then blew the game open with a five-run third inning and as the Panthers drew within one run, added four more to put the game out of reach.

Arcadia scored five runs in the first two innings as the Knights knocked off Montclair State, 8-1 at Skip Wilson Field, Sean Carew and Phil Piefry each had two hits and two RBI for Arcadia (18-12). Carson Denham got the victory as he allowed four hits and a run over four innings or work. Denham improved to 2-2 on the season. Freshman Daniel Clemente belted a solo home run for the Red Hawks (10-19), who dropped their 11th straight contest.

Junior Nick Raposo capped an eight-run Wheaton (Mass.) outburst in the top of the 11th as the Lyons outlasted host WPI, 16-14, Tuesday afternoon at the New England Baseball Complex. Wheaton, the 17th-ranked team in the latest D3baseball.com Top 25, improves to 23-6 overall and 13-1 in NEWMAC competition while the Engineers move to 20-11 and 6-6. Tied after regulation, both teams added a run in the tenth. Wheaton exploded for eight runs in the 11th and it was almost not enough as WPI scored six and had the winning run on deck when the Lyons got the final out.

Birmingham-Southern knocked off No. 14 Piedmont 14-7 on the road on Tuesday night. After falling behind 5-2 in the third inning, the Panthers reeled off nine unanswered runs in the next two innings to take the 11-5 lead. BSC then capped its scoring with three runs in the top of the ninth, giving the Panthers plenty of cushion for the final three outs. At the plate, three different Panthers – Brian Williams , Richie Misischia and Alfredo Granier finished the game with three RBI each. Granier and A.J. Hunt led the Panthers with three hits apiece, and the Panthers ended the game with 16 total hits.

No. 15 Coe strung together a pair of big-run innings in defeating Luther 15-2 in seven innings Tuesday in American Rivers Conference action in Decorah. After spotting the Norse two runs in the first, Coe erupted for six in the second. Daniel Berger and Cameron Frazier each singled to lead off the frame and Berger later scored on an error. Coe scored their next five runs of the frame after two outs were recorded. Kevin DeLaney singled to left to drive in a pair. Riley LeGrand followed with a single. They would score on another error. Berger later delivered his second base hit of the inning, driving in a run. Coe put up another big crooked number in the fourth and the rout was on.

Outscoring Carroll, 28-8 over Tuesday's twin bill, North Central College swept its second-straight series while winning its eighth-straight CCIW game in the process. The offense racked up 18 hits in the opener, as six different Cardinals tallied multiple hits. Michael Stoltz led all players with a 3-for-5 showing with two runs scored and a RBI. Carroll finished game two with eight total errors, while the Cardinal offense totaled 16 hits led by Colin Weilbacher's 4-for-5 showing with a hit by pitch, four runs scored and four RBI.

Trinity's sixth-ranked baseball team outlasted Mary Hardin-Baylor 13-7 on Tuesday night. The Tigers hammered out a season-high 17 hits in the game that included six different players enjoying multi-hit nights. Mason Meredith led the offensive outburst with a 4-5 night that included two RBI and three runs scored, and he is second on the team with 35 RBI on the year. Michael Goodrich went 3-4 with two runs and two RBI, highlighted by his sixth home run of the season. The Tigers scored at least one run in all eight innings.

Shenandoah scored at least one run in every inning on its way to an 18-5 non-league victory over Marymount. Shenandoah (19-9) broke open a 2-2 game with an eight-spot in the third versus the Saints (14-16). Thompson and Marcelle were both 3-for-4. Grant Thompson had three RBI and Frankie Ritter, Keegan Woolford, Robert Marcelle and Tristan Baker all drove in two runs. Carson Kulina (3-0) was the winning pitcher. He threw the first seven innings and gave up four runs on six hits and three walks while striking out six.

Junior right-hander Ben Lambert hurled seven innings of two-hit shutout baseball as the #3 Southern Maine defeated the visiting UMass-Boston Beacons 8-3 in Little East Conference action Tuesday afternoon at chilly Ed Flaherty Field. The win was the fourth straight for the Huskies and gave them a split of the teams regular-season home-and-home series.  The Huskies improved their record to 20-4 overall and 9-2 in conference action.  The Beacons, winners in five of their last six outings, slip top 15-10 overall and 6-3 in the conference. Lambert surrendered only a wind-blown single in the third inning and a single in the seventh to go along with five walks and seven strikeouts to earn his fifth win of the season.  He stranded a runner at third in the first, and runners at second and third in the second, but was dominant over the next five frames. The Huskies collected 13 hits off four Beacons hurlers, led by junior Andrew Hillier and senior Devin Warren who had three hits apiece.  Both had two doubles and a single.

Chris DeGiacomo hit a grand slam as he finished the day a triple shy of the cycle while Jack Bunting improved to 8-0 on the season as Johns Hopkins scored 10 unanswered runs to defeat visiting Washington College, 10-1 on Tuesday evening at Babb Field. Bunting is the first Blue Jay pitcher to open the season 8-0 since Sam Eagleson and Alex Eliopoulos both opened the 2010 season with 8-0 records. JHU has won the last 12 games against the Shoremen as Hopkins leads the all-time series, 91-34.

Keuka swept a non-conference doubleheader against D'Youville at Kuhl Field on Tuesday afternoon. Keuka (13-13) won the opener 10-7. The Green and Gold then completed the sweep, winning the nightcap 24-8. Keuka College totaled 16 hits in the opener. Every starter recorded at least one hit for Keuka in game one. A pair of Tylers, Freedman and Krowiak, led the way as each finished with three hits in the game. Both Pat Flaherty and Tyler Krowiak recorded three hits in the win to lead the Wolves in the nightcap. Flaherty tied his career-high with three hits and five runs batted in on Tuesday.

Immaculata posted 18 runs on 19 hits and scored in all but one inning Tuesday afternoon at Elizabethtown, taking down the Blue Jays 18-8 in non-conference action. Freshman Joey Sacco finished the day a perfect 5-for-5 at the plate out of the leadoff spot with a double and two runs driven in, while senior Kyle Hannon and junior Zach Van Meter each recorded three-hit days. Sophomore Gabe Hollenbach notched his third win on the mound with five effective innings in his start - totaling three strikeouts - before freshman Anthony Yarson finished it off with two innings of two-run ball in relief.

Senior Dakota McFadden, junior Nick Carlini and sophomore RJ Gouldsbury all homered and junior Jared Rowley struck out 10 as Keystone defeated visiting Marywood 19-2. Keystone exploded for 20 hits overall and plated 10 runs in the bottom of the fourth, five in the fifth and three in the seventh. In the fourth, McFadden launched a three-run homer to left. The senior finished 2-for-2 with three runs, four RBI and two walks. In the fifth, Carlini blasted a grand slam over the left field wall to make it 15-0 in favor of Keystone. Carlini finished 3-for-4 with three runs and four RBI. Gouldsbury enjoyed a solo shot to left in the bottom of the sixth.

William Paterson (19-10) jumped out to a six-run lead by the second inning and never looked back, cruising to a 10-1 triumph at Scranton (10-15). Four Pioneers tallied a pair of hits in support of William Paterson's starter, senior Jeff Lombardi Jr. Lombardi went 8.0 innings, allowing one run on six hits while striking out three (1-0). Classmate Ryan Tomao scattered two hits during the ninth inning to close out the game.

Castleton scored 12 runs between the fifth and sixth innings to earn a 16-10 win over Plymouth State in a Little East Conference game played at Pappas Field on the campus of Franklin Pierce University. PSU got off to a strong start as Boldwin gave the Panthers a 2-0 lead in the bottom of the first thanks to his sixth home run of the year and the Panthers led 4-2 heading into the fifth. Castleton exploded for seven runs in the frame, though, to take the lead for good. The Spartans added five more runs in the sixth to take a 14-4 lead, and although PSU cut into the deficit with four runs in the bottom of the frame, the Panthers were unable to recover.

Kean used a single run in their last at-bat to break a three-all deadlock and defeat host St. Josephs College-Long Island, 4-3, in a rescheduled matchup. Four Cougars collected two hits each as Kean improved to 21-11 this spring. Daniel Campanelli led the Golden Eagles (14-15) with a 3-for-3 day. RJ Jobin (3-0) earned the win in relief. He allowed two runs in four and a third innings. He scattered six hits and walked two.

Nolan Schoonveld had a night to remember and the Hamline won its fourth game in a row in a walk with a 15-0 win over Minnesota-Morris in their 2019 CHS Field debut Tuesday night. Schoonveld rapped out five hits and scored three times to lead a 11 hit assault on eight UMM pitchers. The Pipers also showed a good eye at the plate, working 14 walks as they improved to 11-13 overall on the season. A five run third inning and a six run sixth provided most of the offense for Hamline . Schoonveld had four singles and a double to raise his batting 32 points to a team leading .354. Cullen Buck was 2-for-3, drove in three runs and scored four times. Jake Dujmovic was 3-for-5 with four RBIs.

Ursinus' bats were held in check until the Bears uncorked a huge five-run eighth inning and held on in the ninth to down Muhlenberg, 6-4, in Centennial Conference action. Ursinus (15-13, 5-6) found itself in a fast-paced pitchers' duel with the conference's hottest team, which had won four in a row entering the contest. The Bears were trailing 3-1 entering the top of the eighth until the bats came to life, scoring five runs on five hits.
