No. 16 Piedmont used a pair of eighth-inning rallies to complete a doubleheader and series sweep over Covenant on Senior Day at Loudermilk Field. The Lions (24-6, 13-3 USA South) rallied from a three-run deficit courtesy of a four-run eighth inning in game one. Then, in game two, Piedmont rallied from multiple deficits, scoring 12 runs combined in the seventh and eighth innings to win, 16-10. Andrew Burden went 3-for-3 with two runs scored in game one while scoring three runs and driving in two more in game two. Brady Ballstadt went 4-for-5 with three doubles, including the game-tying hit in the bottom of the eighth. Matt Vonderschmidt picked up his league-leading seventh save in game one and picked up his third win in game two.
No. 23 Denison extended its winning streak to 11 games after a sweep of Allegheny. Denison prevailed 9-1 in the opener but needed a little ninth inning magic in the nightcap to come away with the 8-7 victory. The pair of wins moves Denison's record to an eye-popping 21-2, easily the best start in the 129-year history of the program. DU's 21 wins is the second-most in all of Division III baseball (386 teams) and their .913 winning percentage ranks them fourth behind only Hope (.950), Concordia Chicago (.944) and Christopher Newport (.916).
Ursinus did something Saturday that it had never done before in as a member of the Centennial Conference. Behind their high-octane hitting lineup, the Bears swept 11th-ranked No. 11 Johns Hopkins (17-7, 3-2) in the home doubleheader, the first time they had ever swept a regular-season series from the Blue Jays. Ursinus came into the day with one win over Johns Hopkins at Thomas Field since 2001. After it was all said and done Saturday, the Bears picked up two victories in one day. The Bears (12-9, 3-3) were able to stay disciplined at the plate on their way to scoring a total of 26 runs on the day, knocking off a strong Johns Hopkins squad thanks to 24 hits and 16 walks.
Ramapo split a NJAC conference doubleheader today at Jeff Maund field against the College of New Jersey. The Roadrunners took game one 7-2 before the #14 ranked Lions came back to take game two, 6-3. Ramapo now stands at 11-9 overall, 3-2 in the conference while TCNJ moves to 16-3 overall and 4-1 in the conference. Ramapo pounded out 15 hits in game one including four extra base hits. Phillip Mahlik finished 3-4 with two runs scored. The Roadrunners recorded one hit in their final two at-bats and TCNJ came away with the three-run road victory, 6-3. Michael Walley (3-0) earned the win on the mound for the Lions with three strikeouts and two walks in eight innings of work. He allowed six Ramapo hits and three runs scored. Zac deRocco earned the save with two strikeouts as he faced the minimum in the ninth inning.
Looking to build on their 15 game winning streak, the No. 1 Concordia Chicago Baseball team hit the field once again today against the Wisconsin Lutheran College Warriors this afternoon. Game one was a tightly contested contest that was well pitched on both sides. CUC was able to come out on top in the bottom of the ninth on a Justin Rodriguez walkoff single to take game one 2-1. The Cougars then continued the strong pitching with six strong innings from Cole Carman as the offense came alive in an 11-0 game two sweep.
With an 11-7 win at Captains Park, the No. 1 Christopher Newport Captains extended their win streak to 13 while snapping the 15th-ranked Salisbury roll at the same number. The Captains improved to 22-2 overall, 10-0 against league foes while the Sea Gulls fell to 19-5-1, 9-1. Junior outfielder Trey Hicks bridged Moores Lane beyond the left field wall twice with a pair of powerful home runs, leading the top-ranked CNU offense to their record-shattering eighth straight game with 10 runs or more. Scoring runs at an historic rate, the Captains had never registered more than five consecutive games in double figures in program history prior to the current stretch of eight straight and 11 of the last 12 games.
For the fourth time in seven games, Emory used an impressive offensive outburst to clinch a mercy rule victory as the Eagles topped Huntingdon, 13-2 in seven innings, to even the series. Junior Jacob Greene was the one of the offensive highlights on the afternoon, cracking two home runs including a grand slam during the third inning to break the game open. Greene finished the game 3-for-3 with a career-high five RBI. Junior Richard Brereton added a season-high four hits, his sixth multi-hit game in eight games, finishing 4-for-5 with two doubles, three RBI and two runs scored. He shined on the mound as well, tossing five scoreless innings to record his second win of the year. In five frames, Brereton scattered three hits and a walk while striking out three. Freshman Zeke Diamond extended his team-high hitting streak to nine games with another three-hit effort, his second consecutive and third in six contests. Diamond drove in three, scored twice and stolen a base in the 11-run win.
The No. 18-ranked Washington University in St. Louis baseball team picked up a come from behind 4-3 extra-inning win over Brandeis University before securing a 10-4 victory in the doubleheader's nightcap during University Athletic Association (UAA) play Saturday at Stein Diamond. WashU improved to 19-3-1 overall after the doubleheader and moved to 5-0 in UAA play. The Judges fell to 9-12 and 0-7 in UAA play. WashU totaled 20 hits during the doubleheader.

| No. 25 Wheaton (Mass.) returned to it's NEWMAC series against the Babson Beavers Saturday afternoon with the Lyons evening the series at 1-1 with a 9-3 win. Trinity's (Texas) fourth-ranked baseball team finished off a Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference weekend series sweep with a 10-6 win over Austin College on Saturday afternoon. The Tigers are now alone in first place atop the SCAC standings, sporting an overall record of 23-7 and a conference mark of 9-3. Rafe Chaumette led the Trinity offense with a 3-4 performance that included his first home run of the season and four RBI total in the game. Four other players had multi-hit games, including Michael Goodrich who went 2-4 with two runs and two RBI to go with his sixth double of the year.
Senior second baseman Jeff Butler had six hits on the day, three in each game, as the eighth-ranked Randolph-Macon split an ODAC doubleheader at Eastern Mennonite. The Yellow Jackets won game on 9-2 and the Royals were victorious in game two 5-4 (12 innings). In game one, senior right-hander Nick Rothallowed one earned run in seven innings in raising his record to 5-0. He scattered five hits, walked one and fanned four. A walk-off single in the bottom of the 12th inning hit by Ray Tricarico sent the Royals home with a game two victory.
Going back and forth all afternoon, junior Ryan Probst led the Cal Lutheran Kingsmen with seven hits on the day, but was outlasted by the La Verne Leopards who took the doubleheader 9-7 and 6-5 (12 innings). The Kingsmen looked to have found their offensive groove once again behind three-hit and two-RBI mornings from Probst and junior Ryne Yamashiro in game one. Backing them up, senior Kaden White and junior Daniel Stauffer also went 2-for-5 at the plate with and RBI apiece. Unfortunately for the Kingsmen, though Probst went 4-for-6 at the plate with a triple and two more RBIs in game two, the Leopards still had their number, holding on to win the 12-inning matchup 6-5.
Rowan won both of its New Jersey Athletic Conference doubleheaders against Rutgers-Newark, 11-2 and 10-1. The Profs improve to 16-5 overall and 3-1 in the NJAC. The Scarlet Raiders have a 6-11 record and 0-5 conference mark. In game one, right-hander Danny Serreino broke the school record for the most strikeouts in a single contest with 16. He surpassed the previous mark of 15 that was set on three separate occasions (1977, 2008 and 2018). Serreino (1-2) pitched 8.1 innings and only allowed three hits and two runs. In game two, the bats came alive in the eighth as the Profs scored eight runs to pull away, 10-1.
The 10th-ranked College of Wooster baseball team was nearly flawless in all facets of the game on Saturday, as the Fighting Scots won by identical 15-1 scores in a doubleheader against Ohio Wesleyan at Art Murray Field. "The plan because of all of the games this week was to really break it (the number of pitches by the starters) up early in the week so we could stretch them out late, and I thought Chandler and Andrew really responded great," said head coach Tim Pettorini. "Andrew definitely had his best outing of the year and Chandler's was close to being his best. I'm really pleased with how it worked. I thought defensively we played good, and offensively we swung the bats really good. It was a good day."
The winning streak reached nine before being snapped as Chapman split a doubleheader with Whittier, 4-3 and 2-3. After yesterday's extra innings win at Whitter, the early game win gave the Panthers their third series win in a row and boosted Chapman into first place in the SCIAC standings. With 20 strikeouts over the two games, the Panthers totaled 31 strikeouts for the series – the fourth time the pitching staff has struck out at least 30 batters in Chapman's six three-game series. Another late rally led to yet another late inning comeback as the Panthers extended their winning streak to nine games. Senior Tyler Peck did not get a decision on the mound but turned in a dominant effort with 14 strikeouts over seven and two-thirds innings.
Nationally-ranked Adrian shut out MIAA opponent Olivet in both ends of a baseball doubleheader, taking the first one 8-0 before blitzing the visiting Comets in the second, 10-0. Junior Pierce Banks (W, 4-1) got the win in the opener, throwing 4.1 scoreless innings against one hit allowed. He worked around seven walks and struck out six batters. In Game 2, freshman Max Denny improved to a perfect 5-0 on the season after going five scoreless innings in which he allowed four hits and two hits while striking out seven.
Pfeiffer scored five runs in the fourth inning en route to a 9-5 win over No. 20 LaGrange in LaGrange, Ga. After spotting the Panthers a 1-0 lead in the first inning, the Pfeiffer offense plated five runs in the fourth inning to take the 5-1 lead. In the frame, Pfeiffer collected three-consecutive singles from Bryce Marsh, Chaston Gordon and Kirby Lambert, loading the bases with no outs. Following a Blake Winebarger fly out, Ira Dorin delivered an RBI single, scoring Marsh from third. Bryan Kowalski then blew the game open, as he lifted a grand slam, his third round-tripper of the season.
Reed Carlton hit a game winning three-run homer and Taylor Barskdale gave up just two hits over 5.0 innings as Concordia Texas picked up a 4-2 win in game one before falling in game two 14-10 Saturday against Sul Ross State at Kokernot Field. Despite the loss in the second game of the day, the Tornados still clinched a series victory and moved to 21-9, 7-5 in the American Southwest Conference. In the nightcap, Sul Ross pounded out 18 hits and survived a ninth-inning rally by the visitors for a 14-10 victory.
Webster extended its win streak in St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play to four straight games by taking both ends of a doubleheader against MacMurray at Don Timm Field on the MacMurray campus. The 22nd-ranked Gorlloks opened the doubleheader with a 5-2 win behind a complete game nine strikeout performance from junior hurler Matt Mulhearn and then used three hits from sophomore third baseman Ben Swords and three runs scored by junior centerfielder Aron Hopp to earn an 8-0 win in the nightcap. With the two wins, Webster improves to 17-8 overall and 7-3 in the SLIAC, while MacMurray falls to 4-17 overall and 0-5 in the league. Since getting swept at Spalding to open SLIAC play on March 20, the Gorloks have won seven of its last last eight league games, including winning four consecutive league contests since a 3-1 loss at Westminster last Sunday. On the day, Webster's offense finished with 17 hits, including five hits by Swords and two hits, three runs scored and 4 RBI by Hopp.
