Webster finished off Carthage to secure the Central Regional championship on Sunday and book its trip to the Division III World Series, while UW-La Crosse rallied to win 5-4, then rolled to a 15-4 win in a winner-take-all game with Coe in the Midwest Regional.

The Gorloks and Eagles joined Cortland, Emory, Frostburg State, Ramapo, Salisbury and Trinity (Texas) in the Division III World Series, which starts Friday morning in Appleton, Wis.

In the first game, La Crosse rallied for four runs in the seventh after Coe got the first two batters and took a 4-2 lead. Coe plated two in the bottom of the eighth but Tony Kohlwey led off the top of the ninth with a double for the Eagles and came around to score on Ben Morgan's liner back through the box.

Coe took a 4-2 lead in the second game on a pair of homers by AJ Reuter and Jory Heckenberg. But La Crosse erupted for seven runs in the sixth and never looked back in winning 15-4.

Dylan Rajkovich got the scoring started with a three-run homer in the bottom of the fourth for Webster, while C.J. Lee went seven and a third innings of shutout ball, scattering six hits to pick up the win.

Webster will play Cortland State, the winners of the New York Regional, and join Frostburg State and Ramapo in the first pod. Trinity (Texas) and Emory match up in the second pod, with Salisbury awaiting UW-La Crosse, which is another first-time entrant.
