OF Quinn Madden Madden transferred to Lynchburg after three seasons at Harford Community College. With the Hornets, Madden was a force in the middle of the order. Scouting report
- Lynchburg won the D-III World Series in its only appearance (2023) and are back to defend their title. They have a Series-best winning percentage at .833 (5-1).
- Travis Beasley will be coming in to the World Series as a first time head coach but has been part of the Lynchburg program as an assistant coach for the previous six years.
- Six Lynchburg baseball players earned all-conference honors from the ODAC. Quinn Hadden was the sole first teamer with four of Lynchburg's five second-teamers underclassmen.
- Lynchburg's pitching was a big part of their title last year. While their hitters are better this year, the pitching staff is not a good as in their championship year. They come in to the Series with a field worse ERA and WHIP. Their K/BB ratio of 1.56 is also a field low.
