Illinois Wesleyan scored another unearned run in the third inning on another RBI single by Nathan.

After the Titans added a run in the fourth on a steal of home, the Choctaws answered with two runs in the bottom of the frame as Brett Hightower singled home Shane Bennett and Benton scored on a double play.

The Choctaws had three players finish with two hits apiece, led by Benton and Hightower, who each went 2-3 with two RBI.

The Choctaws will be back in action on Friday and Saturday when they host Texas-Dallas in first home conference series.  Friday's first pitch is scheduled for 6:00 p.m.
