GETTYSBURG, Pa. – Franklin & Marshall dominated in a 16-4 victory over Gettysburg in Centennial Conference (CC) baseball action Saturday afternoon. The victory completed the season sweep over the Bullets and improved the Diplomats' mark to 12-11 (4-2 CC).

Blue Wells went 2-for-5 with four RBIs and a run to pace the Diplomats' offense. Kevin Shields and Connor Devlin both finished with two RBIs.  Eric Bornstein and Russell Tischler crossed the plate three times apiece for F&M.

Wells put the Diplomats on the board with a two-run double in the third inning.  F&M added a run in the fourth and two in the fifth to take a 5-0 edge.  Alex Vescera's sacrifice fly plated Kevin Shields in the fourth and Connor Devlin's double in fifth accounted for the two runs in that inning.

The Bullets (8-13, 2-4 CC) managed a run in the fifth before the Diplomats tacked on seven in the seventh.  Matt Will, J.T Triantos and Shields all knocked in a run. Wells brought two runners home in the inning.

F&M added four more runs in the ninth and Gettysburg got three across the plate in the bottom of the frame.

Josh Gray picked up the win for F&M. Gray (2-2) worked 5.2 innings, allowing just one earned run and scattered five hits. Josh Donovan (0-2) took the loss with three earned runs in four innings.

F&M returns to action on Tuesday when the Diplomats travel to Ursinus for a 3:30 p.m. ballgame.
