STEVENS POINT, Wis. - It was a clean sweep for the 12th-ranked UW-Stevens Point baseball team took both games of their doubleheader with UW-Superior Sunday afternoon at University Field.

With the two wins, the Pointers claimed all four games of the season series with the Yellowjackets.
UWSP took the first game by a count of 1-0.
Game one starter Cam Seidl (Appleton, WI/Fox Valley Lutheran) silenced the Superior bats with a no-hitter through seven and a third.
Superior finally posted a hit when Tom Fairbanks singled to shallow center.
Seidl would recover and tossed a complete game one-hitter, striking six and walking two.
"Cam was definitely dominate today and I thought it had a lot to do with his two-seam fastball and the way he located it," Pointers head coach Pat Bloom said. "He got a ton of groundballs and he was able to never be out of any count because he had that coming back with movement and guys had a hard time squaring it up."
Jimmy Coady (La Crosse, WI/Aquinas) plated the lone run of the game for the Pointers with a game-winning, sacrifice fly to right that plated Brian Clark.
The Yellowjackets took their first lead of the series with five runs in the first inning of game two.
The Pointers finally broke through in the fifth when Sean Gerber (Stoughton, WI/Stoughton) came around to score after Max Mittelstaedt (Oshkosh, WI/Oshkosh North) grounded into a double play.
Point pulled within one on the seventh when Gerber blasted a three-run homerun to right.
"I think Sean [Gerber] hitting that homerun was huge for us," Bloom said. "Just to give us a boost and give us a little bit of life and get us back in the ballgame."
Bryan Clark (Oshkosh, WI/North) knotted the game with his RBI single in the bottom of the ninth.
Mittelstaedt pushed across the game-winning run with a sacrifice fly and the Pointers emerged walk-off victors again, this time by a final score of 6-5.\
Max Frederick (New London, WI/New London) pitched seven innings of relief, striking out eight and walking just one.
Ryan Iverson (Eau Claire, WI/Eau Claire North) picked up the win with two scoreless innings.
Gerber finished the game 3-4 with three RBIs.
With the wins, the Pointers improve to 18-8 overall and (10-4 WIAC).
UWSP will return to play Wednesday when they play host to Edgewood College in a pair of nonconference tilts at University Field. First pitch is set for 1 p.m.
