Bats Stay Hot As Royals Push Win Streak To Four With Victory Over Baptist Bible College

SCRANTON, Pa. – The University of Scranton baseball team pushed its winning streak to four and reached double-digits in runs scored for the third straight game while posting a 32-7 victory over Baptist Bible College on Thursday afternoon at Connell Park.

Junior designated hitter Anthony Duchnowski (Dunmore, Pa./Holy Cross-Bishop O'Hara) led the Royals (16-13) with five hits, including three doubles, and drove in six runs. Junior third baseman Michael Trabulsi (Malverne, N.Y./Chaminade) added four hits and seven RBIs, and junior first baseman Ryan Eden (Philadelphia, Pa./St. Joseph's Prep) homered and drove in five. Freshman second baseman Shea Rosadino (Devon, Pa./Conestoga) also added two hits and four RBIs.

Baptist Bible College was led by sophomore Randy Vincent (Euclid, Ohio), who had three hits and an RBI. Freshman Paul Mills (Clarks Summit, Pa./Lakeland) added two hits and two RBIs.

Scranton opens a pivotal Landmark Conference series against Drew University with a single game tomorrow at 3:30 in Madison, N.J. Saturday's doubleheader will start at 11 a.m. Drew is one game ahead of the Royals for the fourth and final playoff spot in the conference.
