Trinity Baseball Ends Florida Trip With Impressive Win

Winter Haven, Fla. - Sophomore Scott Huley (Greenwich, Conn.) had four hits to lead the Trinity College Bantams to a 17-7 victory over the Concordia University Falcons in the RussMatt Central Florida Baseball Invitational at Chain of Lakes Park this afternoon. Trinity closes its 15-game spring trip with an 8-7 mark, while the Falcons fall to 0-5.

Trinity senior captain IF Stephen Rogers (Watertown, Mass.) and senior UT Bruan Ginsberg (Westwood, Mass.) both homered and sophomore RHP David O'Brien (Fairfield, Conn.) earned the win on the mound. Trinity trailed, 5-1, early but used an eight-run eighth inning to take the lead for good at 9-5. Huley doubled and Rogers belted a three-run shot during the rally. Trinity has scored 10 or more runs in seven of their first 15 games this season.
