Dominican University freshman Quinlan Milne Rojek (Minneapolis, Minn.) broke out of a 5-for-25 slump to start his collegiate career by going 6-for-6 in game one of the Stars' twinbill with the Millikin University Big Blue on Saturday and becoming the first player in Dominican University baseball history to hit for the cycle with three singles, a double, a triple and a home run.

After singles in his first three plate appearances, Milne Rojek launched his first career collegiate home run over the fence in right with nobody on and one out in the top of the sixth to give the Stars an 8-3 advantage. Two innings later the rookie led off the Stars' half of the eighth with a double to center. Nine batters later in the same inning, Milne Rojek stepped to the plate with runners on first and second and roped a ball into the right-center gap to drive in two before sliding into third safely.

The Minneapolis native propelled the Stars to a 16-6, eight-inning victory over the Big Blue in game one as the Stars rapped out a season-best 20 hits.

Milne Rojek stayed hot in game two, going 2-for-4 with another run batted in to finish the day 8-for-10 with six runs batted in and three extra-base hits as the Stars' split the doubleheader. The freshman's monstrous day helped raise his batting average .171 points to a team-best .371 and he also pulled into the team lead with ten RBI on the season.

Milne Rojek and the Stars return to action on Tuesday, traveling to North Park University to take on the Vikings in a non-conference tilt before opening Northern Athletics Conference (NAC) play next Saturday with a doubleheader at Rockford College.
