For the first time since 2005, the Louisiana College baseball team took a series on the road ASC foe Texas-Dallas, as the Wildcats won the rubber match of the series 4-2 behind another outstanding pitcher pitching performance by sophomore right-hander Josh Lang.

Lang picked up the win to move to 3-3 on the year, as he threw a complete game, giving up 10 hits and two earned runs while striking out seven.

All three starting pitchers for Louisiana College threw complete games in the series for the second time in three conference series. Lang, Madison Lachney, and Seth Webster accomplished the same feat in the ASC opening series against LeTourneau three weeks earlier.

LC scored all for of their runs in the fifth inning, highlighted by three successful sacrifice bunts.

The Wildcats were led at the plate by Cole Bagbey (2-for-5, 1 run, 1 RBI, 1 stolen base), Cary Myers (3-for-4, 1 run) and Nic Cole (2-for-3, 1 run, 1 RBI) as they banged out 12 hits on the day.

The win moved the Wildcats to 15-13 overall and an impressive 6-3 mark in ASC play, which puts them alone in second place in the ASC East behind Texas-Tyler (23-7, 9-3 in ASC). LC will have a week off before they take on ASC rival East Texas Baptist in a huge three-game conference series at home beginning April 5 at 6 p.m.
