Emerson and Vigue Collect NAC Weekly Honors

WATERVILLE, ME- Thomas baseball players Cody Vigue (Skowhegan, Maine) and Dillon Emerson (Concord, N.H.) have been selected for weekly honors by the North Atlantic Conference (NAC). Vigue was tabbed player of the week, while Emerson was chosen for rookie of the week.

Vigue batted .462 (6-13) on the week, leading Thomas to a 3-1 mark in conference play, hitting safely in all four games. Vigue added three doubles and two walks, posting a .533 on base percentage and a slugging percentage of .692 to go along with two RBI and five runs scored. He also tossed a scoreless inning against Division I, Maine, striking out two before notching a pair of saves in conference play, striking out three and allowing a single run in two innings of work against UMF and New England College.

Emerson drove in the winning run on a double in the seventh inning to go along with his two run home run in the first inning to lead Thomas to a 7-6 victory over NEC on Sunday, capping an impressive week. The freshman infielder batted .294 and slugged .647 with nine RBI and two runs scored on the week for the Terriers.
