Murphy began the top of the third inning with a bunt single, his sixth of the season. After successfully advancing to second base on his ninth stolen base of 2013, Quatrone recorded an opposite field base hit to plate the left fielder and give CCNY its first run of the game.

A big fourth inning gave the Rangers a 7-1 advantage before the Beavers added a run in the top of the fifth inning.

The Rangers added seven runs in the later frames to extend their lead to double figures.

The Beavers return to City University of New York Athletic Conference action on Saturday, April 20 against John Jay College. The twinbill begins at 12 p.m. at Father John Blanco Field at Salesian High School in New Rochelle.
