ADRIAN, Mich. - Consecutive walks to B.J. Konkle and Thomas Cox and a passed ball led to a sacrifice fly by Kyle Kowal as Albion College outlasted Siena Heights University, 6-5 in 10 innings, in a non-league baseball game Tuesday afternoon.

The top of the order did the most damage for Albion as Brendan Diamond and Adam Mazza combined to go 6-for-9 with four runs scored. Davin Montgomery drove in two runs.

Albion trailed for most of the afternoon. Siena Heights led 3-1 after two innings and the score stayed that way until the Britons plated a pair in the sixth. Siena Heights built a 5-3 lead with runs in the sixth and seventh. Albion forged a 5-5 tie with runs in the eighth and ninth.

Bill Radatz pitched two scoreless innings to earn the first victory of his collegiate career. He scattered two hits and a walk. Gunnar Owens also pitched a scoreless inning in relief.

Albion is scheduled to return to Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association action Thursday with a 2 p.m. doubleheader at Calvin College.
