The baseball team suffered an 11-4 loss on Sunday to Monmouth College of Illinois from the Midwest Conference.

The Fighting Scots scored six runs in the first two innings, but the Bearcats rallied back with four runs in the third inning.

Ryan Jacobs and John Yuksekol each smacked RBI singles, while Angel Tejeda hit a long double to score Nicholas Pomo-Roman and Jacobs to cut the score to 6-4.

The Fighting Scots scored three runs in the sixth inning and one each in the eight and ninth innings to wrap up the 11-4 victory.
