CONWAY, Ark. - After winning both games of a double-header on Saturday, the Hendrix College baseball team completed the three-game sweep of #3 Trinity University with a 5-4 come-from-behind win at Warrior Field on Sunday.

With the win, the Warriors improve to 15-11 overall, while the Tigers fall to 21-6. The three-game sweep was the first against TU since 2007.

Hendrix senior center fielder Collin Radack led the top of the first off with a double, was bunted over by junior catcher Seth Mobley and scored on a sac fly off the bat of junior shortstop Ryan Ritz to go up 1-0. Freshman left fielder Wyatt Hogan singled to start the second and slatr scored on an Austin Womack ground ball, giving the Orange & Black a 2-0 advantage.

Tiger right fielder Austin Singer led off the third with a hit and was driven in by Drew Butler to make the game 2-1. TU tied it in the fifth with a sac fly from third baseman Carter McEachern, plating second baseman Connor Moore.

The Warriors regained a 3-2 lead in the bottom of the fifth when Radack reached on a two-out single, swiped second and was driven in by Mobley with a base hit. The lead would be erased in the top of the sixth by the Tigers. First baseman Trent Rape drew a walk and catcher Chris Bianchi singled to put two on with two outs. Moore put Trinity up 4-3 with a base-clearing single to center field.

Hendrix junior right fielder Matt Simmons led the eighth off with a hit and scored on a Hogan double to tie the game at 4-4. Hogan was lifted for sophomore pinch runner Zach Crenshaw. With one out, freshman first baseman Logan Hiatt singled to put runners on the corner. Womack plated Censhaw with a sac bunt, which turned out to be the game-winning run.

Radack went 2-for-4 with two runs scored, a double and a steal, Hogan had two hits, with a double, one RBI and a run and Hiatt also had two hits. Mobley went 2-for-3 with a sac bunt and RBI. Womack had two RBI despite not producing a hit.

Moore led the Tigers at the plate with two hits and two RBI. Butler and Bianchi also had two hits each.

Senior reliever Justin Mosbey (1-0) earned the win by throwing three scoreless innings, allowing just a walk. Mosbey has thrown 18.2 consecutive scoreless innings and last gave up a run on Feb. 28. Teddy Turner (3-1) took the loss for the Tigers, allowing four hits and two runs.

Hendrix will return to Southern Athletic Association play when they go to Berry College next weekend for a three-game series.
