After Hunter Hensley struck out, Austin Batten walked to load the bases. Brendan Howell drew a walk to force home one run and Andrew Saunders followed with a two-run single, slicing the Mounties lead to 12-9. Hensley took the mound in top of the 10th and retired the Mounties in order to set the stage for the Eagles winning tally in the bottom of the inning.

With one out in the bottom of the 10th, Batten reached safely on a bunt single and Howell walked. Saunders then singled to right, but the rightfielder threw Batten out at the plate for the second out of the inning. With runners still at first and second, Berry singled and Howell scored from second, giving the Eagles the 13-12 victory.

The Mounties took a quick lead with three runs in the top of the first, but the Eagles got one of those runs back in the bottom of the inning on a run-scoring single by Hensley.
