Hamline slapped out 11 hits but dropped an 8-6 decision to MacMurray in the opener of a four-game trek to Jacksonville, Illinois Saturday. Matt Connell had three hits -- including the season's first home run -- but HU committed four errors that led to five unearned runs in the loss. Colin Olstad, Dan Moro and Andy Sammon had two hits each as Hamline fell to 2-3 on the season. 

The Pipers meet Loras later in the day. They will face MacMurray and Loras on Sunday as well.
