Baruch Wins Third Straight Game, Routs North Central of Minnesota, 15-1

The baseball team pounded out 15 hits and Michael McGroartybatted 4-for-5 with two RBI to lead the Bearcats to a 15-1 win over the Rams of North Central University of Minnesota on a warm and sunny Wednesday afternoon in Fort Myers, Florida.

The Bearcats took control in the third inning with six runs and added four more in the fourth to roll past their opponent from the Midwest.


Matthew Fazioearned the win by allowing only two hits in six innings to go along with one earned run, three walks and eight strikeouts. Bryan Flannerypitched three innings of scoreless relief.

Edwin Saint-Hilaireand Sean McNamarahad two hits each, while Luca Altamiranostole three bases.

The Bearcats, winners of three in a row, return to action Friday morning in Fort Myers at 9 a.m. with single game contest against Olivet College of Michigan.
