Three bases loaded walks in the top of the fifth allowed the Cadets to tie the game at five heading into the bottom half of the inning.

Piccirillo gave the lead back to the Wolverines in the bottom of the fifth when he singled to left field to bring home Cody Dmiterchik.

The Wolverines added two insurance runs in the bottom of the sixth when Mears and Mike Calvarese each notched RBI infield singles.
