BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – No. 3 Birmingham-Southern baseball dropped its first game since Feb. 19 Thursday night at Striplin Field. The Panthers fell 3-2 against Adrian College to move to 9-3 overall on the year.
Preston White (Memphis, Tenn./Memphis University School) and A.J. Hunt (Memphis, Tenn./Memphis University School) led the team offensively. Both went 2-for-4 with a double. Both of Hunt's hits were doubles.
David Scott (Atlanta, Ga./Woodward Academy) was on base twice and stole a game-high two bases.
The Panthers remain at home for their next two matchups. They take on both Wisconsin-Oshkosh and Transylvania this coming Saturday, March 4. The doubleheader starts at 2:15 p.m. with the night cap following at 5:15 p.m.
