Chargers Open Spring Break with 1-2 Mark

The Lancaster Bible College baseball team once again headed to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina for spring break and through two days, the Chargers have posted a 1-2 record. Lancaster Bible dropped its opening game to NCAA Division II Benedict, 13-1 on Saturday night and then split two games with Alfred State and Hood on Sunday afternoon. The Chargers continue their trip on Monday when they play Rutgers-Newark at 6 p.m.

Game Notes: Trailing, 5-0, Lancaster Bible scored its lone run of the game in the bottom of the third on an RBI single from sophomore Adam Cohick...The Chargers used four pitchers, including Tyler GreenlyKyle Ebersole and Jesse Carver, who saw their first action of the season...Lancaster Bible committed four errors as the Chargers' pitchers allowed just five earned runs.
