AUBURNDALE, FL - Frank Greco struck out 12 and posted a complete game shutout as the Benedictine University baseball team opened the spring break trip to Florida with a win over Ripon College.

THE DETAILS
• Playing as the visiting team, Benedictine opened the first inning with a pair of one-out singles from Anthony Woodard and Chayancze Stirbis
• Both runners were left on base following back-to-back strikeouts
• Greco set the tone in the bottom of the inning, striking out the first batter
• Following a double, Greco notched back-to-back strikeouts to escape the frame
• The only run of the game came with two outs in the seventh inning
• Tanner Kiser homered to right, providing all the help Greco would need
• The sophomore struck out at least one batter in seven different innings
