Terzi, Keystone Shut Down Kean

Union, N.J. (3/21/17)Troy Terzi tossed a complete game, two-hit shutout to lead the Keystone College baseball team to a 6-0 win over Kean University on Tuesday.

Terzi (2-0) allowed a single and double and walked just one while striking out seven in the 94 pitch effort.

Keystone (6-5) provided a balanced scoring attack, plating two runs in the first and adding single runs in the third, sixth, seventh and ninth.  The Giants had a batter reach in every inning. 

#25 Kean (9-7) broke up the perfect game in the fourth as Brian Cole doubled down the line.

The Giants collected 14 hits on the afternoon as eight members of the lineup recorded hits, including three hits each for Anthony Ferrezza and Billy Nelson in the one-two spots.  Brendan Long had a multi RBI day that included a solo homer.

Kean returns to action on Wednesday when they host Stevens Institute of Technology at 3 p.m.
