AUBURNDALE, FL - The Benedictine University baseball team will come home with a 7-6 record after falling in the final game of the spring break trip.

Playing as the visiting team, Benedictine jumped ahead with a pair of runs in the top of the second
Sam Kerr logged a one-out triple and Erik Callaghan followed with a triple as well to make the score 1-0
D.J. Dillon extended the lead with an RBI groundout
Saint Joseph's, who is receiving votes in the D3baseball.com poll, immediately tied the game in the bottom of the inning
Starter Ryan Miller, who suffered the loss, exited the game in the fourth as Saint Joseph's scored five times to take the lead
Tanner Kiser drilled a two-run homer in the fifth, scoring Jack Feeley who singled and stole second in the inning
Saint Joseph's again countered, netting two runs in the bottom of the inning and adding five more in the sixth to shorten the game
Benedictine finished 6-4 on the 10-game trip
