NEWARK, N.J. (April 11, 2017) – In the fourth episode of 'The RUNdown' we talk to Rutgers University-Newark baseball standouts Justin Marks and Anthony Perconte.
 
The junior duo talk about the team's attitude, its hot start, Dario's Restaurant, playing through adversity and much more.

They are the first student-athletes to appear on the show as well so a huge thank you goes out to them for spending the time!

Rutgers-Newark baseball is off to a 15-5 start to the season, and the Raiders have a 4-2 mark inside the New Jersey Athletic Conference. R-N has won five-straight games and 12-of-14 overall.
 
Perconte was named the NJAC Player of the Week on Monday, while Marks hit .500 over his last five games and started all four games behind the plate in Saturday and Sunday's NJAC road sweeps at Rutgers University-Camden and New Jersey City University.

What's next? Rutgers-Newark returns to the diamond with a home-and-home series against nationally-ranked Alvernia. R-N visits 'Vern on Tuesday and hosts the Crusaders Wednesday. Both games are slated for a 3:30 p.m. start.
