LISLE, IL - The Benedictine University baseball team racked up double-digit hits in both ends of a doubleheader sweep over Wisconsin Lutheran College on Saturday afternoon.

THE DETAILS
Benedictine played as the visiting team and wore grey in both games as the contests were moved from Wisconsin due to poor field conditions
The middle of the lineup posted nine hits, scored nine runs and drove home five in the opener
Frank Greco moved to 6-0 in as many starts by allowing two runs in six innings
Wisconsin Lutheran scored in the bottom of the first, but Benedictine scored in five different innings to put the game out of reach
Erik Callaghan and Tanner Kiser notched back-to-back singles in the second before Brandon Gipson drove home a run with a single to tie the score
Nick Severino handed Benedictine the lead by lifting a sacrifice fly
Holding a 5-1 lead, Andrew Hotze and Callaghan hit back-to-back homers in the fourth

Kiser posted four hits, scored three times and drove home a pair in the first game and finished with six hits and four RBIs in the twinbill
Callaghan finished 3-for-3 with four runs, two walks and a pair of RBIs
Severino and D.J. Dillon each tallied a pair of RBIs
Greco struck out three and allowed five hits in his six innings
Benedictine logged 14 hits in the opener and 10 in the second
Miller threw 6.2 innings and did not allow an earned run, surrendering just four hits
Cooper Murphy, Will Diessner and Marty Maves finished out the win
Feeley posted two hits and two RBIs in the second contest
