LISLE, IL - The Benedictine University baseball team swept visiting Rockford University to secure a slot in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Tournament.

THE DETAILS
Benedictine logged double-digit hits in each contest and did not trail during either affair
Benedictine scored seven unearned runs in the opener
D.J. Dillon put Benedictine on the board in the second inning with a bases loaded infield single
Kyle Mitter followed with a bases loaded walk to make the score 2-0
Jack Feeley capped a three-run inning with an RBI single
The lead reached 5-0 with a pair of runs in the third
Andrew Hotze plated Sam Kerr with a single and Dillon added an RBI single as well

STAT LEADERS
Ivan Guzman twirled six innings to earn his fourth win of the year, allowing just two unearned runs
Guzman walked two and struck out five before Ryan Renken finished out the win
Rockford managed just three hits in the opener
Dillon drove home three runs in the opener, finishing with two hits as Benedictine totaled 10
Kiser, Kerr and Hotze also produced two hits while Brandon Gipson drew three walks
Hotze and Severino each logged three hits in the second game with Kiser collecting two along with a pair of walks
Calixto also picked up a pair of knocks as Benedictine posted 12
