AUBURNDALE, Fla.--Five different players had two hits apiece as the Keene State College baseball team came back to post a 12-7 win over Colby-Sawyer College on Monday evening.

How it Happened
David Sevigny was 2-for-3 with three RBI, three runs scored, and two walks, and Nate Rossi was 2-for-5 with three RBI. Connor Walsh, John Tarascio, and Tom Meucci all had two hits apiece. The Owls drew seven walks from three Colby-Sawyer pitchers and knocked out 13 hits. Tyler Fitzgerald (1-0) earned the win with 1.2 innings of perfect relief with three strikeouts.
The Chargers took a 2-0 lead in the top of the first, getting an RBI single from Danaher and a sacrifice fly from Unzer. Keene State tied the game in the bottom of the second, with an RBI single from Sevigny and a bases loaded walk from Rossi. The Owls added two more runs in the third inning when Meucci had a 2-RBI double with the bases loaded.
Keene State spotted the Chargers five runs in the fifth inning, as Danaher drove in a pair of runs with a triple to right-center before scoring himself on a wild pitch. A pair of KSC errors brought in another run, followed by another wild pitch that plated Pratt.
Down 7-4, the Owls began forging a comeback in the sixth inning. Keene State drew four walks in the inning, including bases loaded free passes to Walsh and Sevigny to bring KSC within 7-6. Meucci led off the bottom of the seventh with a single, and moved into scoring position on a groundout from pinch-hitter Tyler Gammie. After a walk to Mac Struthers, Rossi singled home Meucci with a hit through the left side that tied the game.
A five run eighth inning slammed the door shut, as Walsh reached on an error and scored on Tarascio's RBI triple. Sevigny followed with another RBI single, and pinch hitter Tim O'Halloran knocked in a pair of runs with a single to left. O'Halloran then scored when Rossi bounced into a fielder's choice.
Brandon Heath went the first four innings in his first start of the season for the Owls, and Noah Rizio saw his first action of the season with 0.2 innings of work. Connor Johnson struck out two in 2.2 innings of relief before Fitzgerald shutdown the Chargers for the final 1.2.
