AUBURNDALE, FL - The Benedictine University baseball team opened spring break action in Florida by falling to a team receiving national recognition

Following a quick first inning each way, UMass Dartmouth scored a pair in the top of the second on a double and a bases loaded walk
Another run scored in the top of the third, chasing starter Frank Greco and making the lead 3-0
Alexander Schramm tossed three scoreless frames before UMass Dartmouth tallied two more in the seventh to lead 5-0
Benedictine fought within 5-2 in the bottom of the inning
Jack Feeley led off with a solo homer and pinch hitter Michael Chaffin singled with two outs
Chaffin came around to score from first on a double from leadoff man Jonathan Hodo
UMass Dartmouth responded with four runs in the eighth to turn the momentum and seal the win
UMass Dartmouth is receiving votes in the D3baseball.com Top 25 and has won four in a row in Florida
