D3baseball.com All-West Region Team
WHITTIER, Calif. – The d3baseball.com All-West Region teams were announced Thursday and Dane Goodman (Ross, Calif.) continues to bring in the recognition in just his first season being named to the 2nd Team as an outfielder.
The freshman from Ross, Calif. continues to bring in the accolades following a huge opening campaign. He was already named the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) Newcomer of the Year, and landed on the All-SCIAC 1st Team.
He was the only first year to be selected to the All-West Region teams and was one of 13 players from the SCIAC to earn accolades.
This season he batted .390 with 46 hits, which included five doubles, four triples, and four homeruns. He also added 18 runs scored and drove in 32, while swiping nine bases. He posted a .452 OBP and slugged .602, while recording a .985 defensive fielding percentage with three assists and 63 put outs.
